Hairs was rigged to default skeleton bones (spine and neck) without additional "hair bones", thats will prevent hair clipping and add some simple animation to haircut.
Texture is low-res because of screen shoot taken from Xbox360,
Hair shaders was not applied.
Solution:
Ad some hair bones with additional animation so hairs can move with character movement and at idle in more realistic way and don't have such breaks as showed on picture.
Use texture replacer.
About shaders, I don't know will be they applied by engine or not before they was at last in Oblivion.

Noes, not that hideous hair again! I want to forget that one. The forest looks amazing, but a tree trunk that looks like a head... :nono:

Khajiit are some of the most furry sentients on Tamriel >_> No nord can even come close to the hairyness.

Indeed, though with Argonians, it's true you don't have to worry about hair, not your own, anyway, you still have to look at the other races' hair.

That's definitely not a hood.

Looking at the details of it, I think I agree, it definitely looks like it's supposed to be hair. Bad looking hair, certainly, but not to the point where I can't tell it's supposed to be hair at all.

That is pretty obviously not a hood.

As others have said, its an early make, so cut some slack regarding how the hair looks.

The hair looks very strangely "bent"? Like if the hair changes its formation when you're crouching.

But anyway, like with the arm/fingers thread before. Vsions stated that the game isn't done yet and we shouldn't worry about things like these. I'm guessing a lot of things have been changed already, including this "bent" hair and the fingers/arms as we talked about before.

Alot of this stuff will get ironed out. That being said hair, especially in a game like this with as much variety as these games tend to have and make it work with everything is particularly difficult.

Nope, they presented this in a Trailer, Im not sure if they did it out of pressure again (like Oblivion) or they were confident in it not being an issue, but there is alot wrong with some of the stuff they've shown. I blame fan pressure and people unwilling to sit and shut up for a few months instead of forcing beth to shower everyone with info.

sorry for this sounding nerdy but i just watched the trailer i don't think it's the same pc the one in the video is wearing no shirt just some shoulder pads, in the image he has camo on,

the hair didn't seemed to move alot in the trailer though hope they fix that, sure they will when they get the time

well if hair is suppose to be wavy what about the scales of an argonian? shouldn't they have some shimmering effect to it?

Or the fins on the head be wavey? Shouldn't that be the Argonians "wavey hair"?

Well definitely there must be more options for beast races, about "wavey hair" think about animated fin, comb, ridge, crest, spikes even beards can be applied if it will use fins and spikes, and definitely thats will make male argonian much better and masculine.
Morrowind was more unique in Argonian hairstyles then Oblivion was but thats was fixed with mods later.

He's a Nord with greasy long hair who hasn't washed in over a good couple months.

Which, unfortunatly, shows that hair doesn't move realistically.
