Yeah i know that feeling. The game can be relentless at some stages. But if you can get someone to play with, or a group, its so much more fun.
Sniping FTW, my Hunters specced for sniping and the use of his bloodwing now.
If you ever do hit 69, try to do a run of Crawmarax.. thats a lot of fun ;)

On a general note:

Good to see everyone is taking an interest in this and in a mature manner =D
Yeah I'm REALLY looking forward to getting some pearlies. I'm sniping/gunslinging currently. And yeah I know right for once everybody is getting along. :celebration:

Damn you've had a long history with Steam. I take it you've cleared games such as Killing Floor, Half-life, Counter Strike? I love Garry's Mod myself I always play it when I go to a friend of mine's house.

Totally. Borderlands, Left 4 Dead 2, Quake 1,2,3, Whole Half-life collection, Whole portal collection, the works.

I haven't played Garry's mod in a while.

Ive noticed there aren't many people here that have competed in leagues.
Thought there would be more.

Quite a few of us have similar non competitive backgrounds though.

Now I didn't know Borderlands connected to Steam. I suppose that makes sense though. Gearbox for some reason seems like it would have started a Steam developer. You got some history though bro, kudos. :bowdown:

Halo ---> Halo Reach
Call of Duty ----> Call of Duty Black Ops
Left 4 Dead ---> L4D 2
Borderlands 100% Achievements finished
007 Goldeneye [When it came out]
Perfect Dark [When it came out]
Fallout 3 ----> New Vegas
Bioshock ----> Bioshock 2

I'm a Console gamer with a medium sensitivity of 6 out of a 1-10 scale. Currently training to increase this.
My Current K/D Ratio will always be 3:1
I always seem to take 3 people with me before I carelessly get myself killed.

I always take teamwork first and communication as a high priority.
Currently a Xbox360 owner and is welcome for anyone who needs a lift. Friendly and funny, I don't take the game too seriously as I make jokes as I fight.

I started out with the original Call of Duty in '03. From then on, I played CoD, CoD:UO, CoD2, CoD4:MW, and CoD:MW2, as well as BF2 and BF:BC2.

Mainly, however, my game has been Team Fortress 2. For two and a half years now. In leagues and tournaments.

I almost added "like a boss", but resisted the urge. I would also agree that it's without a shadow of a doubt the best £14 I ever spent in my entire life ($20).

My FPS roots are Halo; I grew up with an original Xbox and played Halo 1 and 2 to death. Naturally, I flocked to the Xbox 360 because I was so familiar to the original Xbox's controls. The first FPS I bought was obviously, Halo 3. After that my next FPS games were:

Halo 3: ODST
Borderlands
Call of Duty: Black Ops

Yup, that's it. 99% of games I played growing up were adventure, RPG, and platformer games; I didn't really get into the FPS scene until about 2 years ago.

like how someone put duck hunt. but i started with Doom and Duke, then moved up with the entire Tom Clancy franchises, Medal of Honor's, the Battlefield's, call of duty's, the Halo's,
Operation Flashpoint, Crysis 2(no PC with the power for the first one), homefront, Killzone 1,2,&3, counterstrike, Combat arms,any non-MP FPS like Riddike, Condemned and Borderlands. Plus 3rd person shooters like Socom and Red Dead Redemption. Probably a few others i can't think of at the moment.

Duck Hunt ( :frog: ). No, my real FPS education started with 007: Agent Under Fire for the GameCube, I think. Then Nightfire. Then uh...WarHammer 40k: Fire Warrior.

Skip ahead a bit and it goes Halo 3, L4D, Halo ODST, MW2, L4D2, Borderlands (like a lot of Borderlands), MAG, Halo Reach, and finally Black Ops.

I've also played a few TPS's like Lost Planet, Lost Planet 2, and Gears of War 2. Oh, and I've played the Enemy Territory Quake Wars demo rather extensively.

Unreal Tournament 99 -> Counter-Strike -> Rainbow Six: Vegas series -> Shadowrun -> Call of Duty4+

Edit: I've also dabbled in a few other shooters here and there, but these are the ones that have really carved my experience as a FPS gamer.

While I don't remember what game it was I started on I consider Counter Strike: Source the first and last challenging FPS game I have ever played. It unfortunately loses its magic after about 750 hours.

We all have different life styles. A few posts back FATAL VISI0N talked about his real life experiences with guns.

It all comes down to teamwork. Which both have their fair share. :goodjob:

My very first FPS game was Doom. First multiplayer FPS game I got into was Counter-Strike 1.5 or something. I remember going to LAN centers to play that with my buddies because I didn't have a computer good enough to play it lol.
