Whats your couriers song?

Post » Sun Jul 17, 2011 5:31 am

I rather like that one that starts out with "Through the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day." Always makes me put on my desperado cowboy hat when I hear it.

That's Big Iron by Mary Robbins.

Dean Martin's 'If you knew Susie' when I'm on The Strip. Off the strip....that's a toughie.

Excellent work there. Really good stuff. I was a fan of Marty Robbins long before this game came out. I think they should have put his ,or at least a, version of Cool Water in this game.

Marty's songs work really well with New Vegas I find. I'll google up Cool Water and check that out.

He/she could not have only one.

Im game its Big Iron

For Vegas spirit it would be Frank Sinatra "Luck be a Lady"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkZCrpPTCbM

For just messing around in the mw it would be Primus " Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYDfwUJzYQg

For just absolute slaughter time it would be Slayer "Killing Fields" because you know the taste of blood can rip your soul apart

Agreed, awesome song. Though it's too awesome to be modern, it belongs in the 70's. :disco:

*But the hope was of course to cause a spit-take or guffaw. :P

*Then it occurred to me to look and see if the Fugees ever did a "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_izvAbhExY" cover (seriously or as a gag), and I found that video.

Another Marty Robbins song I really like is Mr. Shorty. I suppose it doesn't directly relate to the game, other than being a western/cowboy song. None the less, it is still a real good song.

Johnny Guitar and Goin' Under (old bluegrass version)

game looks like this (brightness UP!):

I've been playing this game so much, that my better half has considered moving into the garage. How do you do that anyway, if you have a wired 4 computer network with all the ports used? Do you upgrade to a wireless n 8 router with high speed connections, or use a compatible 4 port wireless router with MAC and DHCP hacks to create the wireless access point if you have extreme knowledge of DOS?

Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades", perhaps? Dunno really, probably too serious and she's probably about the only person in Vegas who doesn't like gambling.
