So Whats Your Favorite Artifact?

Post » Sun May 01, 2011 11:25 pm

In this thread, you can vote for your favorite artifacts. It doesent necessary have to be an artifact that we have seen in a game yet, but any artifact of Tamriels Lore. Maybe you just like the mystery behind?

I have to go with Chrysamare, Lords Mail and Warlocks Ring.

Boy I dont hope I forgot one.

It seem that in any TES, my warriors alway end up with the Spell Breaker as his/her shield of defense (not to mention the enchantment is tasty). In Morrowind, I also tend to favor Eleidon's Ward. Its beautiful and also have a decent enchantment.

Daedric Crescent! Awesomeness! Dragonbone for armor and mentors ring for trinket. Sentimental value.

Wow, that's a bit wierd. I don't ever recall hearing about the artifact Goldbrand before just now, and lo -- I was trying to create an enchanted ebony sword today while playing Morrowind, and was naming it Goldbrand (Alas, I failed in all my attempts to enchant it). Seems way too coincidental. I must have run across it somewhere before and forgot about it completely.

Anyway, I don't really think that I could pick just one artifact from each category. But, if I really had to, I suppose I might go with something like http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Cleaver_of_St._Felms_(artifact) simply because it looks cool.

Sorry, thanks for the link. Oh I am sorry, it was late and I see now it was a rude post by that reply. I should have said to the OP and not you. I will avoid these things in the future b/c I forgot an explanation. :hugs:

I've said this before, but I love the fact that the people on this forum are actually polite to each other. Try the steam forums if you don't know what I mean. Anyway, my favourites are
Jewel of Rumare - always the first thing I go for
Skeleton key - somewhat just because the locking picking in Oblivion bugged me.
anything I made for myself in Morrowind

Daedric Crescent (it's like a Klingon bat'leth! (spelling???))

Cuirass of the Savior's Hide. It's the skin off Hircine's back! :P

Ring of Khajiit - very helpful.

Granted, I'm basing these off their usefulness as portrayed in TESIII and TESIV, which doesn't always exactly match up with how the Lore describes them.

Spear of Bitter Mercy was awesome. Unfortunately, it has limited appearances.

Spell Breaker was useful for me.

Ring of Phynaster was useful also.

But my absolute favorite would be Oghma Infinium. Especially in Daggerfall.

Now that i think about it, i should have voted Skull Crusher for weapon. Every Morrowind character I used had it.

I'm the only one that likes Mehrunes' Razor? The prospect of death at one cut seems pretty enticing. The little bugger is small, and perfect for the trained assassin and the delusional fanatic alike. Favorite armor is the masque of Clavicus Vile. I just love all things Clavicus. It looks fancy. It's protective. The Ring of the Kahjiit is my favorite trinket only because it has come in handy sooo many times.

Does Mehrunes razor really kill with one swipe? I have never used it because its a dagger. If its true I might finally be able to forget my prejudice against daggers!
