Is it just me, or Fire breath is far too weak and has a too long recharging time for actually being useful?

Even with +25% of damage (with meditating about the shout with Paarthalax), it's still basically useless. I only use it to ignite flammable stuff.

Eh, it should get a little power boost yes, but it's nice when you catch a full group of enemies in it. Especially things weak to fire like vampires.

Why would you use Unrelenting shout to kill anyone?

You get nothing for it except giggles

No skill ups, most times the loot on the body is lost or too far away to be worthwhile

My favorite shout is Sprint

Great for traps, for quick traveling, for advancing on archers and doesnt rob me of anything

ice form lvl 3 try it on dragon if u get direct close attack freezes them wail on them ftw also good 4 dragon lords always back pedaling from my warrior( Bast*rds)

Unrelenting force because i find it really useful out of all the shouts and i use all 3 words for the shout.

marked for death , using throw voice cuz calling someone mellon nose is funny, and whirlwind sprint cuz orc females sound like there say woo! instead of wuld :intergalactic:

You speak as though the satisfaction of seeing your enemy being sent flying off a ledge it not reason enough for unrelenting force to be your shout of choice.

The frost shout is pretty cool (not ice form) and can help slow down a group. Slow time is great for positioning yourself for dual power attacks. I like elemental fury but it's a shame you can't use it with enchanted weapons.

I love shouting at dead enemies on the ground after I kill them with unrelenting force or disarm just for effect, like Muad'Dib in Lynch's Dune movie did to Fade Ruatha (Sting) after he defeated him in the Emperor's throne room, his pure voice unmodulated cracking the earth open and splitting his defeated foe's body open.

I would love to play with a mod that uses the dune weirding module "CHA!" sound effect from the movie sometimes. :hubbahubba:

I role play as a Vampire (but without actually getting in game Vampirism cause it's rubbish) and so Slow Time and Whirlwind Sprint are my favourites, as they sort of demonstrate a Vampire's super human speed. I need to judge the distance of Whirlwind Sprint though as I often use it to close the distance on archers and kill them before they can get their dagger out, it usually ends up with me over shooting and having to turn 180, not very graceful!

It does svck losing the ability to loot the corpses when you throw someone off a cliff, but at least you survive the fight.

As an archer, I love it. If something manages to close the gap and get into melee range, I can send it flying, and get off another 2-3 shots before it even gets back on its feet - which is usually all it takes to finish the job. Has saved my ass more than once, especially against multiple enemies.

Unrelenting Force. Duh.

I want to mod the sound it makes so instead of "Fus" "roh" and "dah" it says, "This," "is," "SKYRIM!"

Unrelenting Force and Storm Call are my favorites at the moment. I also like Marked for Death on harder fights like Dragon Priests.

Whirlwind Sprint. It's not as useful as I would like and I do prefer other, more useful, shouts but that is my favourite.

As a mage: Slow Time.

As any other character: the full Unrelenting Force.

I tried using Elemental Fury once, but I saw absolutely no difference in my attack speed. I just do not get the same results that other people get, even with two of the three words. Sad, really.

Whirlwind Sprint, hands down. It made traveling the world much more bearable. Oh, I have to go down this mountain and find a way up that other mountain? Or I could just dash across this gaping waterfall and save 10+ minutes. Over encumbered with 500lbs of dragon bones/scales? Shout back to town!

Other than that, I occasionally used Unrelenting Force in a banquet hall, for the humor, Dragonrend for the annoying dragon that won't stop flying around, Clear Skies when I'm tired of the blizzard, or when I want to push a guard around without getting into trouble.

I like a few of them, the disarm is good, but unrelenting force takes some beating, managed to shout 4 enemies off a high balcony with one shout while I was being overpowered! Great feeling

ice form on non-dragons. it is funny seeing people turned into giant popsicles. ripe for the slashing. muhahaha.
for dragons, unrelenting still is my best weapon.
i just obtained slow time. will try using that more. and finally, i have two words for "marked for death." i have used on dragons and non-dragons. not sure how effective it is though.

Unrelenting Force easily, its so satisfying as a squishy stealthy type to blast a armoured 2hander baddie off a bridge, cliff, high altitude area to his doom. I look forward to it, plan for it and love it every time I pull that little doosey off. The one where you can call in close air support is pretty cool too

too bad Clear Skies doesn't work on snow, at least it never worked for me
