Redguards too. They seem out of place in that frozen hole that is Skyrim but it just makes them that much more noticeable. I gotta admit I don't really feel like I'm playing as a Redguard like I did in Oblivion. I kinda feel like I'm a nobody honestly. Most likely because I always play 1st person and almost never get to look at my character except when I want to see what his gear looks like(it always looks great).

Definite tie between High Elf and Orc.

Orc for their lore and High Elf because I love mages.

Imperial for me.

A bit of culture in a land of beer swilling [censored] raking savages.

Dunmer all the way! I've been a spellsword since morrowind and dunmer were the spellsword race. Now they're more about stealth for some reason, but their flaming aura of doom totally makes up for that.

Plus they're the only race that can pull off looking like they're on skooma withdrawal and still looking badass.

Dunmer...see all the crap they went through and the amazing slave-free culture they had for about 10 years or so before they got invaded. Made me so sad. I was all like yay now they might become nicer and actually decent people. Argonians come in. Thanks for that whole civil war you fought amongst yourselves to free us and all but uhh...were here to kill you.

Now I feel the Dunmer Xenophobia was justified. Not the slaves but damned who knew freeing them would come back to bite them in the ass like that?

Besides hands down they have the best culture imo.

On the other hand I hate the VA for the Dunmer. Where are those raspy voices? That was the best part!

Nord, because I don't have an animal fetish, and elves annoy me.

I never liked Altmer in Daggerfall, Morrowind or Oblivion - now in Skyrim I really hate them. I'll choose a Breton when making a mage.

My favourite to play so far has been a Khajiit. It's fun taking down dragons with nothing but the claws that nature gave me.

Next up is an Orc.

I don't really have a favourite. I just use whatever I like for role-play reasons. But if I was to choose my most used it varies...
I've never played a Dunmer, Orsimer or Khajiit in Oblivion or Skyrim before.

I used to make a lot of Breton characters in Oblivion for battlemages or pure mages, then I realized that I never need the resistance but more Magicka so I moved to Altmer. Now I use Altmer if I'm making any type of mage.
In Oblivion my warriors were usually Nords (I just like my warriors to be big and tall), but I had also made Redguard warriors too. In Skyrim it's hard to not make Nords due to the popularity of the race, the hometown and the story.
In Oblivion I also once tried Argonian and loved it. I have never been a fan of playing as a beast race in any game. But my Argonian was like a Dragon in Skyrim.

So Argonian, Nord, Altmer and my top 3 favourites and most used. I think I might make an Argonian jack-of-all trades character.

Imps are a jack of all trades. So it is a good match for a person like me that loves a sword but wants to use magic as well. Heavy Armor with a sword and lightning is how I played Oblivion and how I play this game... I married a Dark elf tho.. Not sure what that means..

My next toon will be a Kitty. They seem to be cool and I own a Cat so yea.. Why not..
