Playing it since I wasn't able to last launch.
Crafting.
I would also check if some quests and npcs that I reported as bugged were fixed.
I really hope the add respec shrines next beta,I will be focusing Cyrodiil pve/pvp solo or small grouping gameplay, and set crafting.
That does remind me, Abeille, I want to try the crafting out a lot.
Play a bit of the Ebonheart Pact and Daggerfall Covenant so I can get a good feel for each of the alliances, then focus on exploring every nook and cranny of the crafting, mounts, and leveling system. Probably see if those Dark Anchors I saw last beta are doing anything yet other than look menacing.
Starting a new character to document all of the numbers as they progress.
The developers put out a set of focus points for every beta. Sadly, I have met none of them before, for one reason or another. I was just going to play but I want to answer some questions for myself.
Probably deciding on my character class/weapon combo while testing crafting with more depth.
I'm, once again, gonna check out melee in 1st person to see if I find it enjoyable like in TES.
I'm gonna try out some theorycrafting with my archer.
I'm gonna start a sorcerer.. maybe a heavy armor one.. dual wielding generally bad ass sorcerer of annihilation and total destruction!!!
I'm afraid my next goal would be slightly cheeky.
I'm still undediced on whether I'll buy ESO or not. Still waiting for the devs to give a clear answer about whether we can learn all skills (with the obvious exceptions) on a single character. And still waiting to see if healing might see any changes.
So I'd probably do a little wandering. I'd like to see things I haven't in the single-player games, eg. the Black Marsh and Valenwood.
When I left my main character at the end of the last beta, she had researched 2 traits on a few items, so first thing I'm going to do is head to one of the special crafting areas I found and make myself some nice gear
If they don't character wiped, I'll actually try my hands at the PVP to see if I am even relatively interested in it. If they do character wipe, I'll try another build for Templar I been wanting to play around with.
Respec shrines arent in the general beta,so I dont know where did u gathered that information from as current betas are capped to lvl 17 zones
Testing things that were broken last beta probably... then if there's any time left, exploring for more things in Cyrodiil I guess....
Level and explore some more. I won't bother with grouping, but I'll try some PvP, since I was enjoying exploring so much I forgot to try PvP last time. I will give Crafting a try-out, to see how it plays but I've never yet found an mmorpg where I like Crafting and I doubt ESO will make a convert of me, based on the last 14 or 15 years of playing mmorpgs. You never know, though!
I'll probably check out another faction and all of the crafting. I spent my previous beta session enjoying the quests and admiring the beautiful world.
They aren't going to give a clear answer about this, because the number of skills available AND the number of skill points available will be constantly changing through the life of the game, starting with the first post-release content patch. The Thieves and Assassins Guilds, for instance, will add new skill lines for sure (and possibly more skill points via questline or skyshards in new locations). Adventure Zones will certainly have new skyshards, but maybe not new skills.
Or to put it another way, I think it's safe to say that you will be able to get every skill that's in the game at release... eventually, as more skill points open up But by then, of course, there'll likely be more skills too.
Don't think they're interested in keeping everything in a one-to-one ratio at every moment, since that would constrain what they add in a silly way
Isn't it enough to know you can get the large majority of them? Exact equivalence hardly seems like a make or break issue for a game, considering that many of them (active skills, weapon skill lines) are mutually exclusive... you can't benefit from all of them at the same time.
As to the OP... I've been in four betas so far, so my focus in the next one will be on NOT playing in the Alliance I intend to play at launch DC is the one I've played least, so I'll probably mess around in there. Thinking a Breton dragonknight in a dress with a fire staff and specializing in Ardent Flame... all fire all the time baby No idea how successful that'll be (magicka will be an issue for sure), but betas are for messing around
I plan on trying things for the first time...
Testing crafting and leveling it as high as possible. Then leave a ton of crafting feedback with hopes they dont continue to nerf it. (likely take a day). Then ill create a new character and attempt to time myself and discover the fastest way to get to the third zone while skipping everything but the mandatory quest. (will likely be server and zoning issues during release so the fastest can get to the third zone the better). After that ill go through the third zone looking for any bugs or problems so I can leave proper feedback.
At the end of last beta, i roll a new char in a new faction and test that faction out. Right now I played all the faction in a beta some time and all the classes expect the templer. I am still making my mind up what class I want to be. I have a build in mind, just figuring out what class to best support that build idea:
A battle mage with a greatsword that does AOE / DOT spells.
i'm going to try some PVP and check out a bit of crafting.
