I was dashing across the tundra, towards a bandit camp. I was just planning on clearing the place for a bounty and some loot. Suddenly, a massive shadow passed overheard, thinking quickly I sprinted to a rock to get a vantage point, and drew my bow. The rock was right beside the bandit camp, and they drew their weapons to attack me, the moment the dragon smashed to the ground among them, biting and killing a bandit. The bandits, seeing that we both had bigger fish to fry, turned on the dragon and started hitting him with all they had. I did the same, sending volley after volley at it, as the bandits slowly thinned out, until only the mage survived. We managed to do enough damage to make him take off, when the bandit turned on me.
An arrow rectified that problem.
The dragon landed again, nearby a small river. I heard several sharp howls, and a group of three wolves dashed up, pouncing on the dragon. It made quick work of them, but he was distracted long enough for about five mudcrabs from a pond right beside him to attack several times. I joined the crabs, continuing to shoot the dragon. That was short-lived, as the dragon flew up and away, coming back to strafe me and the crabs with fire. It killed the crabs and damaged me a fair amount, so I began to move to cover, shooting arrows at the dragon as it circled for another strafe.
The damn thing finally took enough damage, and began to lose altitude. It crashed into the ground, kicking up dirt as a I continued to shoot arrows into it. When it finally skidded to a stop, it was mere yards away from me, and quickly recovering. I traded my bow for a sword and shield, and charged in for the kill, slashing the dragons head several times. It spewed fire onto me at least twice, and I had to resort to using potions to keep myself alive.
In the end, I slashed him in the head, performing a finishing move where I climbed onto his neck and slashed his head over and over again.
Looking back, I think that dragon must have been a fairly high level compared to me, because he took a beating.
