Well, I already posted this looking for any input on a thread in the TES General board, but I guess it couldnt hurt to repost it here since this section gets more traffic anyway...

Breton Mage: Jacques L'Estrange
Dunmer Monk: Jym Fyr
Bosmer Hunter: Quilliam
Nord Warrior: Eadwine the Wild
Argonian Shadowmage: Hides-In-Plain-Sight
Altmer Battlemage: Phylyp
Khajiit Thief: J'Mei
Orc Bard: Yaakov gro-Yaak
Redguard Gladiator: Kelly

I tried to use name styles that are dominant in each races culture (with a few exeptions, i.e. Bosmer). These are all the races I plan to use at some point (with the first three being my main characters). As you can see, I dont have any particular plans for a Imperial character yet (can't think of a unique playstyle for him yet). Feel free to let me know what you think, or if you like/dislike any particular names! :tongue:

So... Whats Your Name? Or more speccifically, what is your name going to be in Skyrim, are you one one of those guys who spends ages thinking of names for your characters using different methods (alot of people use latin but i personally will be using Draconic for this game), or do you just think of a cool random name and use that, do you use your real name? Or do you prefer people to sing heroic ballads of bravery to their children, and thier childrens children forever, of the wonderous and epic deeds of the one and only great warrior named by all as "Player"? xD

I personally have not chosen a name yet as i am waiting for Bethesda to release more Draconic words so i can make an epic one myself for my awesome Nord character, but i want to hear what you guys have for your characters

I'm going to be an Altmer Sorcerer named Vivra Omisran Akathon. hmmm that or Ristaak Laurien, though Ristaak Laurien is usually the name I use for warrior characters. Then if I make a stealth guy it will probably be Elvarg Uldien or something.

I've considered probably over twenty names so far but at this point the ones I'm considering most are Wirilóm? or Gwerlum (both translate to Gloomweaver), Ungw? Lianti, E?l Mornedhel (for my Dunmer), Túrin Turambar (for my Imperial), and Ulfang the Wretched (for my Nord).

Probably Hrol and Hrondar on my Nords. Sabinus Cullian on one of my Imperials. Banden on a Dunmer. Not sure about any other race yet.

These are my current Oblivion playthroughs, but along with new Skyrim playthroughs I'll create based on my favorite game mechanics, I'll create these characters in Skyrim. The elves I can just say survived to the present time and the Breton deals with Daedra Lords for his power, so its plausible that he's extended his life by bargining with his soul. The rest I'll come up with loopholes for eventually (time warp, magical stasis, elven blood, enhanced lifespawn granted by deity, etc.)

Altmer Spellsword: Tahlaer Esyldar, Chaotic Good

Monk of Akatosh: Lathe Tarmikos, Neutral Good

Imperial Paladin of Stendarr: Markas Corinthal, Lawful Good

Dunmer Nightblade: Nadinyon Oblodra, Neutral Evil

Breton Conjurer: Anszim Sephret, Lawful Evil

Redguard Assassin: Massad Al Jabir, Lawful Neutral

I usually go with Captain Neg, but sometimes I just use Neg or Negger.

I have a Nord character all set, but I don't know what to call him. I've narrowed it down to:
-Steinar Cyrusson
-Steinar Drekinnstein
-Steinar the Red

I also have an Imperial character. His name will be M. Albius Galeo.

I have a long list of other characters, but those are my favorite.
