Whats your Nanosuit set up?

Post » Fri Mar 01, 2013 10:19 pm

To all the elite Nanosuiters out there I would like some advise on what nano mods to use an weapon.

I am not new to Crysis but I would not call myself a NanoVet just yet.

At the moment I will only play HC/TDM an some Core TDM when the HC lobbies are empty.
I like to use stealth an flank my pray...Im not a lone wolf at heart but I do tend not to run with the pack.

Im level 23.

My main mods are Hunter / Phantom / low Profile (Core TDM only) / Surveillance / Aim Enhance
Weapon(s) Feline / red dot scope / Silencer sometimes. / SCAR / FY7 I / AY69 / REX (C4) / Flash G/nade.

My main set up is FY7I *4 red dot underGrip att. / AY69 *3 Red dot / REX / Hunter *2 / Aim Enhance *1 / (Depending on what I am playing HC or Core) HC / Aim Enhance *1 / Core / Low Profile *1.

Feel free to add your Nanosuit set ups an thoughts?.....

Good Hunting..

John1973,

If you are interested in flanking your opponents, I would suggest the following:

Low Profile
Maneuverability
Hunter/Weapon Pro

For weapons stay light:
Feline
Marshal/Jackal
K-Volt
Typhoon

Stick with red dot for sights, get an extended mag if you can. Do now worry about the silencers. They take away too much damage and range, and if you have mobility you will be gone before anyone can follow up with your radar blip when you fire. This style is strong with hit-and-runs. Stay on the move, reload quickly, hit fast and get out. You want to be able to take them by surprise, so do not linger. And don't be afraid to re-energize on the move; If you have mobility, most people wont be able to hit you. Do Not take them on head-on, you will lose. Play dirty, shoot from behind.

Secondary has more leeway. In the spirit of this loadout, I would choose the AY or Nova, but if you want to go heavy you can, as they are still super lightweight. In this case a silencer is fine; you have to shoot them so many times anyway one more bullet is usually not a death sentence.

If you want my favorite loadout, it is the following:

Low Profile, Retriever, Aim Stabilizer
Takedown, Assault scope, Fore grip, Match Barrel
Hammer, Silencer, Extended Mag
Jaw

This is a creep loadout. Stay on the move, stay cloaked, crouched, take them out at a distance. If you are flanked pull out your Hammer, if you see a group hit the ground with the Jaw.

Feline/Heavy Barrel/Ext. Mag

Hunter
Proxy Alarm
Armor Transfer

Nightmare, what do u think about the Scar? I′am just wondering cause even with match barrel i noticed a disadvantage against the Feline, Scarab and the legendary Tynoob! But i go for all the weapon attachements, so i must continue to play with ;)

SCAR Mod 2 w/ Reflex/Match Barrel/Foregrip
Rapid Fire 3
Maneuverability 3
Retriever 3

This is my favorite and best setup so far. I like to go fast, so Maneuverability is a must. Retriever is nice for longer support bonuses, and I've had it so long now that I rarely run without it. I had Aim Enhance before I had Rapid Fire, but the Scar's accuracy is already more than good, so I opted for Rapid Fire instead.

I tried out the Takedown recently and love that for larger maps. Haven't really tried out many combinations of classes with it, but atm have:

Takedown - Reflex sight
Retriever 3
Surveillance 1
Aim Enhance 3

I plan to have the Match Barrel and Foregrip when I unlock them on the Takedown. Aim Enhance may be switched out for something else, depending on the accuracy after I get the other attachments. Surveillance I've yet to try on any of my classes, but I think it may work out nice. Retriever is a must have when going for long distance kills, IMO.

I have the M12 Nova with Match Barrel and Laser Sight on all of my classes. Have yet to unlock Extended mags, but will put that on when I get it.
I prefer R.E.X Charges for my explosive slot, but change it depending on the game type.

I also sometimes run the FY71M with the same setup as my SCAR, but with Aim Enhance rather than Rapid Fire.
