Whats your rig and framerate with it?

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 6:27 am

like the title says what rig are you guys running and whats the framerate on it with your settings? Personally, I'm running with:

-Visiontek radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 video card
-Biostar A880GU3 AMD 880G Socket AM3 Motherboard
-AMD Phenom II X4 805 HDX805WFK4FGI 2.5 GHZ Processor (dated but was part of a bundle)
-Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9 XMS3 4GB DDR3 RAM (2 X 4GB Sticks)
-Seagate 1TB SATA 3G Barracuda? Green Hard Drive
-Genuis keyboard/mouse combo (non gaming stuffs)
-Zonet PIC wireless card (it's meh!)

My framerate with games is usually fluctuating because on SP I run on high and multiplayer I usually run a little lower for a higher framerate so between 20-40 Roughly, Not everything's on high though.

I just built one before I bought the game:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 24566MB RAM DDR3 1033 Tripple Channel
2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
Windows 7
1TB HD
BDDVDRW disc drive
Logitech Keyboard (G-15), Mouse (G7), Headset (G35)
HP 2408h 24" Monitor at 1920x1200
1000w PS

It runs well, no game problems....I've never really checked the FPS?

Asus P5Q SE PLUS
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz @ 4.14Ghz - 1.3625v
2x2Gb DDR2-800 @ DDR2-920 (1:1 with FSB) 5-5-5-15 - 1.9v
MSI R5770 HAWK 1gb 875Mhz/1200Mhz @ 1025Mhz/1350Mhz - 1.3v
1tb SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 32mb
3 x 120mm Cooler Master Case Fans
Cooler Master Hyoer 101 CPU Heatsink
650w Antec PSU
Plain Black Rosewill Case
Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate

CPU never goes above 57° C, and then only when under heavy load for several hours.

In Crysis 2 I can get steady 60fps on Very High @ 720p. Steady 30+fps on Extreme.

In the Crysis 1 benchmark tool (set to 720p, DX10 Very High, AAx2) I can average 29fps with no overclocking. With all overclocking applied, it jumps to 43fps.

Built this 3 years ago (well, GPU is newish), and I think I've squeezed every possible extra bit of performance out of it without liquid.

What is your resolution? My GTX260 (pretty much similar performance as 5770) runs on Extreme with smooth frame rates on my 19" monitor 1440x900

AMD Phenom II X6 1075T @ 3.3GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Overclocked
4GB 1333 DDR3 RAM

80 fps, 1920x1200 on Extreme/Enthusiast.

I opened the demo, saw the consolized menu, benchmarked three matches on both maps. Then I uninstalled the demo. ^-^

Lies. I have xfire MSI 5770s Hawks OCed to 950/1350 and a Phenom II X4 955 BE and I dont "always" get 60 fps on extreme at 1920x1080, it dosnt even peak to 60 the majority of the time. ~40-45 is more realistic.

His secret? He probably counts the ammount of FPS (with his eyes) and then multiplies it by 30 -_-

I'm wondering this myself. I have a I5 2500K @ stock, 4 GB RAM and a modded 6950 (so a stock 6970 effectively). Getting like 45 fps on extreme 1920x1200 v-sync on.

You may laugh but there re-releasing the Commodore 64 next month, you wont be able to play pc games on it but you can stick Windows 7 on it and have it dual boot with the original OS

BS. Lol a 128-bit GPU running Full HD on extreme, you are getting a slide show at best.

I think most of you are posting the FPS for the menu or loading screens lol, we all need to use FRAPS to benchmark it and all choose the same map, failing that you can try the benchmark tool I posted ages ago
