When are they gonna fix this game

Post » Sat Apr 06, 2013 10:45 pm

The name of the topic stands for itself. Why does my vampires face go dirty everytime i reload? Why does my offhand weapon disapear into thin air when I sheath it? Why the hell am I not able to put my god damned shield on my god damned back??? These are just very very few of the things that anoy me in this game. And I know that there are mods for putting shields on back which totally don't work for me and are buggy as hell. How selfish does a professional company have to be to let others fix their problems and lack of inovation with mods? And for the record...if someone can make a mod for something at home, they should be able to do it as well. I remember a comment from them that they like to listen to what their community wants. Soooo are they going deaf or something? I'm sure that many Skyrim fans out there share my frustration with Bethesda for this lack of professionalism and frankly, lack of carring. I really hope that people will geather so that we can make them hear us, and adress some of the problems that shouldn't even be there.

How does not being able to put your shield on your back equate to the game being broken? That's cosmetic, nothing more. And just to be honest, I stopped read there because your gripes seemed aesthetic nit-pickyness.

So explain me how I NEVER had ANY major bug in my game ? ( Since 11.11.11 )
And I use 50+ mods so they SHOULD mess things from time to time yet they DO NOT. ?
I MAYBE get one little bug once a week, that is all.

Why put a shield on your back? It would take longer to wield it. Why not just keep your shield on your arm like always? The shield never did anything to you. You use the chestplate to protect your back (backplate?), you use the shield to deflect an attack from another. People are silly these days.

A game as huge as Skyrim is inevitably going to have problems, they get sorted out progressively with each patch. The game in itself is an amazing achievement and is enjoyed by millions the world over (bugs included) and there really is nothing that comes close to it in this genre. Enjoy it for what it is and don't expect perfection or you will have a very long wait.
Welcome to the forums by the way.

Bethesda games have a reputation of being a little buggy. It is very hard to avoid though in open games like this. They try and fix them if they find them. Some bigger bugs was backwards flying dragons and flying cabbages that could kill you :P Still, they've been fixed. You are right in one aspect this game has some weak areas were mods cover up, but it is not broken i think. The reasons you mentioned matters little to me, actual gameplay is more important.

Most of the things you mention are not broken they have been coded to be that way and their very unlikely to be changed. There is however quite a few bugs some of which are supposed to be fixed by 1.9 so to say they don't care is inaccurate.

They will probably never "fix" this stuff.

None of the problems (and preferences) you listed seem to justify that Bethesda lacks professionalism.
