If by "from start to finish" you mean "finish the main quest", then good luck with that .

Go to work. After work, pick up the game. Go home, eat dinner, and they play until about 11:00 and then go to bed.

There isn't a single game that has been made that has made me want to play for 24 hours with no sleep or lock myself in a room with no outside contact for a week.

I'll be going to the midnight launch and then come home and play all night. On the way home i'll hit up the gas station for plenty of munchies. I'll probably take a quick nap around 5-6 am and then play all day Saturday.

Midnight pickup at Gamestop, then home to install (tic tock, tic tock), then play forever with as few real life interruptions as possible! Great perk for where I'm located is it's going to be snowy, with very little to do outside and as I'm retired I don't have a "schedule" to keep, other than making sure I've got eveyrthing ready for Turkey Day! :tes:

Well luckily I work a seasonal job which will be ending about a week before Skyrim is released. Which means I will leave the house around 10PM on 11/10/11 and drop by Wal-Mart to buy some junk food, drinks, beer, everything that is necessary to play Skyrim non stop for a month. Unfortunately I will have to take some time out of my weeks for my online classes. :tes:

[EDIT] I may even walk to Gamestop on the 10th, which is about 20 miles away and have someone pick me up at midnight. That way I will have gotten my exercise for the next month.

With any luck, when 11.11.11 arrives i'll already be playing it having received my pre-order the day before.

On the 10th though, before it arrives, i'm going to fill my room with a load of food, and energy drinks with high caffeine content.

On the morning of November 11th, I shall begin watching any one of the 1,500 Let's Plays that will have materialized on YouTube the night before. I will learn as much as I feel I need to, then decide whether not the game is worth my time.

I am looking forward to the game, don't get me wrong, but if it's a repeat of Oblivion, I'm just going to wait this one out too, and hope that the next domain name Bethesda secures contains the words "Summerset Isles", because if not I'm out completely.

That's just the point I'm at.

Luckily its on a Friday so I only skip a day of classes, but I'm camping out at GameStop with friends and when we get it were having an Elder Scrolls weekend.

I can't really enjoy Elder Scrolls with friends.

It's more of a play by yourself type game. Looking across the room and seeing your friend also in Skyrim slaying monsters is kind of an immersion breaker haha

No midnight purchase for me. I want to attack the game fully rested. I'm taking the day off, so I'll just drive out in the morning, probably 10-ish, to pick up the game from wherever (Best Buy or Gamestop, probably). Then drive back and probably play until the evening. My only break will be to eat and probably drag my poor wife downstairs to gawk at the game on our 110" projection screen at some point.

That has to be one of the most disturbings posts I've seen in quite some time. I wouldn't even think about reposting the whole thing in the reply.

If you live in the states you might want to check if you have 11-11-11 off from school/work. It is a holiday. We celebrate our veterans on that day. I'm a teacher, so I know I will be off that day. Midnight release for me. I will remember our veterans by taking an axe to a dragon's maw.

If there was a "Like" button for Staxjax's itinerary, I would press it.

If Nibiru doesn't arrive, enjoy Skyrim; if Nibiru does arrive, buy a quality pair of aspestos underpants and still enjoy Skyrim! :celebration:

Don't worry Nibiru won't arrive, although the whole economy may have crashed by then, and if by chance it does arrive, at least we can look forward to a spectacular Guy Fawkes display on November 5th without cheap fireworks?

Go and buy it from local supermarket on the morning of it's release.

Go to work. I start at 12:00pm however will not play before going as may be tempted to call in sick, if I were to experience the awsomeness before hand

Think about Skyrim all day at work (will be the longest day in history)

Arrive home around 20:30 and play Skyrim all night until the early hours.
