Post » Sat Jul 23, 2011 9:25 am

Personally I am picking it up at 12 from a 24hr supermarket (I grabbed FONV at 12:04 last november from the same place)
Then it will be beers for a few hours then double coffee's till 6, then catch a few zzzz's then back on untill i eventually collapse from tiredness

Next Day same thing
Next day same thing
Next day University, then same thing
etc etc etc

going to wait a couple of weeks before buying, watch some lets plays to see if some of my concerns are founded or not (don't really like much the idea of watching LP's for a TES game since I really do relish the first impressions I got from MW, OB and FO.)

With any luck, when 11.11.11 arrives i'll already be playing it having received my pre-order the day before.

On the 10th though, before it arrives, i'm going to fill my room with a load of food, and energy drinks with high caffeine content.

Luckily, i have a month off work starting on the 2nd of November.

So, i'll be picking up Skyrim at Midnight on the 11th, and playing it for about 12hrs straight!!

But after the inital focus on Skyrim, i will be swapping between BF3, Fifa 12, MW3, Uncharted 3, and then on the 15th i'll be picking up AC: Revelations, and on the 18th i'll be getting Saints Row: The third.

So yeah, starting on the 2nd, i will be gaming pretty much 16hrs a day for a month, and of course, Skyrim will be played most, but other games will be given some play time too!!

Taking a £300 hit on video games in October/November, so i'll be doing the overtime on offer the month before :P

Pick the game up after classes end and then say goodbye to earth and welcome the embrace of Nirn with junk food, root beer, and massive amounts of java.

11.11.11 is a Friday which is great because most games are released on a Tuesday. So the plan is midnight pick up (first time for me) go home and just play around with character creation but nothing too serious. Get some sleep. Wake up go to the gym see The Immortals and then play until Monday.

I'll be at Wal-Mart thursday night by 11, so as soon as they put Skyrim on the shelf, I can buy it and speed home. Maybe I can even talk them into selling me a copy a few minutes early?

I'll be taking that Friday and Saturday off work, so I'll be able to play straight through Fri, Sat, and Sun. Three days, locked away in my room playing Skyrim. Should be fun.

Well as soon ass 11/11/11 begins I will be first in line getting my copy. I will then make the cold journey home (pretending I am in Skyrim) while I look at the awesome game case and read the booklet
Then once I get home I shall open the game, pop it into my PS3 and begin playing. No idea when i'll stop though.

My pre-order probably won't arrive until a week later, so I will shut off my interwebs to avoid spoilers and study like a madman.

I've already booked holiday

I plan to get comfy, and play - a lot

I've even arranged for my girlfriend to go to Australia to see her parents for two weeks - the best £1,500 I've ever spent I reckon

put on my backpack get on my bike early in the morning head to gamestop and hopefully before all that I've already preorder the game.it's going to be awkward because the gamestop I go to has been robbed recently so me showing up with a backpack on will seem a little suspicious to everybody in there and the security guird they hired will probably look at me the whole time and then I will get nervious and start acting weird.and end up making it worse.like I always do.stupid criminals always messing things up for regular schmoes like me.

1. Get all my other responsibilities out of the way. (No classes on Fridays regardless)
2. Go to futureshop and buy the game (If I didn't just preorder beforehand, haven't yet)
3. Buy some mead.
4. Go home.
5. Play Skyrim and drink said mead.
6. Wake up hung over on Sunday to find a bloody claymore in my bed.

Go to highschool (im in the US >_>) get home at around 4.00- 4.30 watch gameplay, look at the pictures of the races (which will surely all be out by then...). Take a nap till around 9.00 or 10.00 when I wake up, eat some food. Go to the gamestop at around 11.00. Arrive around 11.30. Wait until 11.45, then get in line. Whenever I get the game (which will hopefully be a collectors edition...) start driving home... Get home around 12.30. Put game in disk tray of xbox 360 whenever I get home, and whenever the game loads up, I will keep playing until I have to sleep (and friday is a US holiday, so I dont have to go to school...) And on saturday, probably just play the game all day long, except for 1-2 hour sleep breaks... (that will turn into 4-6 to 6-8 hour sleep breaks >_>...

Me and my brother are going to go pick up our copies at midnight, and I'm probably going to take off a day or two. No wife or kids, as she'll be at work, and my daughter will be at the daycare. Probably go pick up some Asian Zing Chicken Wings (about 20 or more), and sit down and get to work. Will likely rip off all my clothes...howl like the Dohvaakin that I am, and play in my boxers....or maybe butt-naked.

There is a small site i pre order games from and they always receive their games a day early and drop it off that evening so I could get it by 10/11/11 at 5pm but its likely I will just pick it up from game station at midnight.

I then plan to stock my fridge up with pepsi max, budweiser, and possibly buy myself a takeaway! play til between 4 and 6am and then catch some sleep and continue playing for all of 11/11//11 unless something comes up which i have to do other than play skyrim, which i hope it doesnt -,-

I know that a friend and I are going together to the midnight release, but, I never really thought of "playing together" if that's what you were getting at... I've always loved playing it for the first 30 hours or so, at least, all by myself.... :foodndrink:.

In all honesty, I will probably sleep.
I may have enough self control to wait for the GOTY edition.
Doubtful, though.
