PREMISE 1 - My Fallout New Vegas is:

Without any custom mod

PREMISE 2 - My computer is:
O.S.: Windows 7 64 Pro SP1 (Original and patched)
Graphic card: ATI HD4870X2 (2GB with Catalist sofware up to date)
8GB memory
ALL the computer drivers up-to-date

Tested even with internet connection and ativirus disabled.


As many players here I found Fallout New Vegas full of bugs. The game crash (on loading, when the roulette spins) very very often. And the crash is on every graphic setting, from the most low to the highest, and with highest settings the game is pretty good (when work). The crash are less frequent if i use a program named FNV4GB (FNV4GB is a tool to load Fallout New Vegas with the Large Address Aware executable flag set so the entire 4GB Virtual Memory Address Space can be used by the game.)
Also game crash when i use the Holy Frag Grenade and Mini Nuke on multiple targets, and if i use a energy weapon with Meltdown perk on.
This cant be a computer issue for many many reasons, expecially that Fallout New Vegas is the only game i found with those issues. I have several other games even more "heavy" on demands but ALL works fine. For that reason, as Fallout New Vegas is the only game i play with probles, should be the game bugged.

Now I have two questions:

1) When we can expect a full patched game that works?

2) Skyrim, the other game you make, will be full of bugs in the same way? I dont have pre-ordered the game cause I fear in a bugged one like Fallout New Vegas.
