Post » Tue Jul 06, 2010 10:02 am

My friend kept calling me a [censored], and one day when I got the defenition of Republic wrong and he did it, I pushed him over and hit him. Just once. Not even that hard. Im a real bad boy.

Honestly, I dont feel anger usually. Hell, I dont feel.

My "fly off the handle" moment came yesterday when my current college adviser informed me that due to a mix-up I was suppose to graduate LAST YEAR because I had all my credits - It was due to my last incompetent adviser that my petition to graduate was screwed up (I repeatedly told her that my associates would be in general studies, not art). On top of that financial aid isn't paying for the "extra" hours I had so I'm stuck with the bill for the extra year that I didn't need. Needless to say, I'm in Kansas and she is in Pennsylvania and if the Lord saw fit to put us in the same room I can't imagine what I'd do.

One of my favorite is from when I was a Senior in High school. I had died my hair blonde, and some idiotic teacher decided to comment on how ridiculous he thought I looked. I stood up, told him he was a [censored] [censored] svcker, picked up a chair and threw it at him. I got suspended for 3 days. It would have been more, but he did provoke it, and I had a classroom full of witnesses. Teachers aren't allow to comment on a student's appearance unless it is detrimental to the flow of the classroom.

that reminded me of what a friend does when he says what. it looks just like it! haha

but wow... I am surprised you (OP) didn't go to juvenile hall or jail dude. consider yourself lucky!

the only time I remember getting really annoyed to where I flipped out was when my little cousin wouldn't stop jumping on my back. so what I did was when he tried again, I grabbed his arm, flipped him over me, and he fell flat on his back and started crying. luckly I covered his mouth with a wash cloth that was near us (we were in the laundry room, and NO it didn't have chloroform on it!) so no one heard him cry.

I learned a very long time ago not to lose my cool, it just isn't worth it. Anything that I've had to prove to myself I've already done. All that said, most of the times when I lost my cool (been over twenty years now) was largely due to ingesting mind altering chemicals; absolutely no reason for that and I still have regrets to this day.

@ OP: You should be counting your blessing that charges were not pressed against you, the repercussions very likely would've been quite harsh...and you would've had no case for pressing charges against your friend. The way I see it is that unless you and the girl that you liked had an agreed upon exclusive relationship then you friend had every right to pursue this girl, of course he could've been more sensitive to the fact that you already liked her.

Just a couple of days ago actually. I woke up, logged onto my T-Mobile account to pay the bill, and noticed that I had $4700 worth of international calling charges on my second line. It appears the phone or SIM card was stolen and T-Mobile customer service didn't help at all (at least not the first few people I talked to). I got in a pretty heated discussion about the issue with the supervisor of the customer service representatives since she decided it wasn't her problem.

I haven't flipped out physically in a long, long time, but I have been incredibly frustrated/angry a few times the past couple months.

After years of attempting to obtain a loan modification for our house, talking in circles with Bank of America, being scammed out of thousands of dollars, etc., we're finally being foreclosed on. BoA has led us on for so long, at one point telling us that we got the modification only to tell us the next day that we have to restart the process. A third party loan modification program that was supposedly reputable had taken our money, told us for months that they were working closely with the bank, and then seemingly disappeared off the face of the Earth. Our first agent at BoA told us to stop making payments on the house during the modification process for various reasons. Then, because we hadn't been making payments as instructed, Bank of America stated that we were intelligible for the modification because we haven't made payments. They claimed that they had no record of telling us not to make payments and that no one at the Bank would tell us to do so.

Now we're losing the house that my grandfather built 50 years ago and every time I think about it I silently rage in my mind.

I've had a couple of run-ins with customer service. It's not always easy to deal with them; call once and get one answer, call again five minutes later and get a different answer. My point is that there is an old saying that goes, "You catch more flies with honey, than vinegar." Sure, it may not work every time, but you are more apt to get a better response by being nice in the face of rudeness.

Tried to break a plate in half recently, I would have succeeded, but I calmed down. That was just a crappy week, back to my old, slightly borderline self now.

Before that, not much.I don't tend to get angry very much, just annoyed, or nervous.

That pretty much sums up my experiences with customer service representatives. Once I had cooled down and let it all sink in, I called again and got a very nice and professional woman that (hopefully, won't know till I see the bill) helped me as much as she could.

I'm just a bit mean all the time. So I never have to build up any rage.

You're all ugly.
See, now I don't have to nerdrage later.
