When going into the casino with a companion, they'll lose their weapons permanently. Confirmed with Boone, ED-E, Lily, Rex, Veronica and Cass. (The Gomorrah) This happen to anyone else?

This may not be happening to everyone, as someone said in my thread, people lose and get new bugs.

Not to be rude, but I think you are making a more detailed thread of the same topic in a different thread, I've seen a thread like this a couple times now by you.

Yeah its my bad I'm just so frustrated. This game is great, I'm just overwhelmed by the fact that there has to be something wrong with it, and that it's not just a minor thing it's a pretty large factor.

It's a bug that's been happening to ppl off and on for ages. I've never had it personally, but yes it can/does happen.

Did you manage to get your weapons back on a previous save? Hopefully it wasn't far back, because I've had to reload saves from hours of gametime because of stuff like this.

Nope lol, on this one guy i was 76 hours in, I had just finished deleting saves and had my last save at 58 hours. I almost threw my [censored] at my tv. I wish there was a way to do certain things on an xbox that you can on pc.

I think sometimes you might be able to get your stuff if you go rob the safe/locker that your gear gets put in...but that'll likely make anyone nearby hostile etc. and whether the items are actually there or not isn't guaranteed.

You can always get a Minigun and tear the place up, if you want the Infamy and not being allowed in that Casino. Well you are allowed, you'd just be attacked.

Save ALOT, When crap like this happens you need to be prepared, and I think they might, look in the area behind the cashier, if you did then I don't know. I know there is one in the Tops for sure.

I though the companions can be told to stay in Lucky38 for a reason.

When this happened to me yesterday, I tested a couple of different ways. I found that my companions didn't even need to be with me when I went into Gomorrah and it didn't matter if I took them in with me or left them waiting outside the door. I left them waiting at the Atomic Wrangler and their Weapons Inventory still disappeared with any weapons they carried. If I go to Gomorrah again, I'll empty their Weapons Inventory and put the weapons somewhere else first. That's the only way I can think of to have them with me for the Omerta's quest and not lose the weapons. In seven previous games, I never had this bug.

Does that work though?
I've had companions lose items when I've left them waiting outside the casino and gone in by myself.
I've found the only reliably safe way is to put weapons except my characters holdout weapons in safe storage containers before going into the casinos.

Do you guys think this is due to the patch? Because 2 or 3 days ago I noticed I was Playing on hard, so I switched it to Very Hard. (Not hardcoe, it's just more irritating then harder) A few (real hours, not game hours) I noticed [censored] gone from boone. At this time i had recently deleted a [censored] load of saves because I was at 98. During that time i had probably entered/exited the Gomorrah once, gotten into combat with enemies and all kinds of stuff. On a website I read that on "Very Hard" difficulty companions can drop weapons if they are hit out of their hands, and that it is not a bug. Can anyone support this because I'm not sure if its true, I'm gonna test it out by changing back to hard and trying this again. If nothing happens on hard, then we know "Very Hard" has a problem.
