When night fall, you

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 1:23 am

Just curious how you people deal with the night falls in Skyrim? :) Myself, I head to nearest Inn, if possible. Otherwise I keep going to destination.

Feel free to discuss too. I wish we could be able to make fire and camp over the night.

Portable bedrolls and campfires would have been awesome. There was a mod for that for Oblivion.

I usually just keep traveling but if I happen to come across an inn or a nice camp I might stop and rest for the night. The world doesn't seem to get any more dangerous at night, it's not like Minecraft were creepers and stuff come out :)

I did one play through of Oblivion, where my character was a cowardly drunken alchemist and always tried to make it to an inn by night. Unless she was in a cave or ruin and didn't know it was night out.

In this game, I am having so much fun exploring, and half the time I am in some of these cool, twisty ruins and dungeons, I have no clue whether it is night or day. A few times I have been very far away from civilization in the wee hours and the game does a good job, atmospherically, of making you a bit... edgy. Music, weather, ambient noise. You'll here that deep bass note sometimes and get vaguely nervous. Heh.

Oh there is a mod for it? :D Yeah it's not so dangerous, but I like the idea as RPing.

Look for Torchbugs and Lunar Moths.

Real men pick flowers and chase butterflies!

Aside from that, day, night, whatever, wheres the nearest dungeon? Or Dragon, that'll work.

I ran for the hills so I don't tear people apart as a werewolf.

When night falls its the time, i finally get out and can kick some ass. If I am near a town I go take a sip of blood in the next nearest house and continue my journey...and when the dawn comes I get to the next best cave or search for a inn or something else beyond the disturbing sun...

I love the scenery at night, I look forward to it. I'm all over the mountains and forest. Now, I'm a werewolf, so I've got more to do.

I end up skywatching... There was an amazing red moon the one night... or is it a planet as it's so big.

If there's an inn nearby, I'll go to it. If the weather is raining/snowing, and I have no torches, then I find the nearest shelter. Whether that be a cave or just some large rocks that give protection from the elements.

Strangely enough, this is the first game I've ever played where I actually try to seek out an inn when night falls. However, I'm probably going to start robbing houses blind at night after I join the Thieve's Guild.
