When The Dragons Actually appear.

Do you guys think the sky color will change when a Dragon appears? Like Oblivion did whenever you got close to a gate. But I don't want it to be just like Oblivion's. What do you guys think?

The screenshot with the dragon flying above tells me no. It's what ever weather it was when you found the dragon.

Which would be much better, as then there would be less clue that you are about to become a crispy critter snack.

I really hope that they won`t make it too obvious when a Dragon appears, the panic and fear factor would be excellent if you don`t have a lot of time to react when one appears.

I agree, if the weather in that screenshot is supposed to be special dragon weather, then it's pretty underwhelming for that, because it looks like normal weather to me.

In any case, why would dragons cause a change in weather? Do dragons just have the natural ability to control weather? Or does Alduin just change the weather whenever a dragon appears because he wants to lower the morale of his enemies? I can accept the red skies around Oblivion gates as being the presence of a gateway to Oblivion in Tamriel effecting the surrounding area, especially since we could also see other Oblivion influences in the immediate area surrounding Oblivion gates, but I see no logical reason why dragons would cause a change in weather.

As the other guy said, why should dragons cause a change in the weather? It's silly.

It won't happen so I'm not worried about it but yeah, doesn't seem like something people would like very much.

The only warning we are likely to get is a huge roar from the dragons up in the sky before they swoop down.

I think it would be pretty cool if while walking in a blizzard at night. and you cant see more that 10 feet in any direction and a Dragon lands right next to you.a battle starts that lights up the area your in, fire, magic, shouts, flashes of dragons breath and when the dragon is dead its body is covered by snow.

That would be awesome.
And another thing, I think that nobody talked about it, if Skyrim come with a native video recorder (like GTAIV) would be even more epic. :hubbahubba:
