or whatever you hip kids call it nowadays,

I'm all for Vanilla myself, have never really liked mods, got no good answer why-

so how will you play?

You can only mod the ui, which isn't even really modding in my book.

Well, if the mods are only to be cosmetic, sure, I might try them out!

I generally try to stick with vanilla. A cosmetic mod every now and then, but not on online games because they're typically not allowed. Only UI mod I ever really used was BooWarnings for TSW, simply because it's very hard to keep track of certain boss buffs and whatnot without it.

I'll definitely look for UI mods that work better for me than vanilla. Just like with Skyrim where I feel SkyUI is a must.

I really like the UI that they have in place now. At least I won't use any add-ons until the end game. Maybe add a backpack item sorting mod...

I am one of those who actually really likes the current UI. It's very minimal and the abilities bar goes away while you are running around, I really like not having clutter all over the screen when playing. Not sure if it's my eyes or what but on a lot of MMO games I have trouble keeping track of everything because of all the buttons being brighter than the actual environment, it's like they drown out the visuals.

My opinion of TESO UI is that it's perfect for my kind of playstyle.

Mods for me (which I don't usually have) as the current UI lacks a lot of basic information that should be present already.

The UI is great at the minute; immersive and clean, while still providing just enough information for me. I never could stand those ridiculous WoW UI mods - that much damn information on your screen you might aswel be playing a spreadsheet. Less is more in my books.

SkyUI for Skyrim; while it was convenient and a must for certain other mods to work, I really disliked the layout and feel. Some people can see past UI aesthetic, but I can't; an ugly UI can quite easily turn me away from a game.

Depends on the mod. If it's seamless and useful I'll give it a whirl.

I do like the 'show items in auto loot' mod.

I'd prefer to stay away from mods with this game since the chances of a game breaking mod is higher, just my opinion though.

I prefer vanilla because i don't like numbers floating around which tell me how much damage i do or get or what spells are being cast. Really distracts me from the game and some people only look at the numbers instead of enjoying the game.

In Vanguard i did use a UI mod so i could see the harvestable nodes on the map and some maps and stuff. It was a nice interactive map which was very usefull.

I'll likely mod just to tailor my UI to my liking. Won't using any ones that give me info I shouldn't be able to know about enemy players in PvP though. PvE on the other hand, well I'm a dedicated tank player at heart so as long as its considered "legal" by the devs got to stay well informed.

Anything that would allow me to make my own music playlists would be nice too.

Mod of course as the current UI is archaic by MMO standards imo.

I'm happy with vanilla. I tried FTC mod and it just cluttered my view and removed all immersion. It just made my game experience worse.
