I literally threw up a little when I checked Steam a second ago and saw that it will release in 9 hours. What a sickening joke.
That 'countdown' has been there for days. Did you actually not notice it before?
How many DLC get midnight releases anyway? Can't say I've heard of many at all.
edit: Since it's determined by Bethesda's working hours (They're on the east coast, hence PST) and they like to be in the office (Apparently

) to deal with issues arising with the load, it makes sense for them to release at the same time relative to PST rather than staggered releases by however gets to the 5th first.
Otherwise then, those same people upset that it isn't out by 'there' time, would then be raging becuase if there's a problem they can't get tech support for several hours.
I'm in the UK. I'm happy to wait because I know how these things work.
Still, at least this isn't as bad as the Fallout 3 DLC launches where people were staying up for a mythical midnight release (despite Beth recommendations that it wasn't neccesary) and were still awake and waiting (And raging) come 7am.
