When will our Q&A be answered?

Post » Thu Jun 23, 2011 11:17 am

Gentlemen, I now predict that we will get the Fan Interview this weekend. Be prepared.

I don't recall any new info or articles ever being posted to bethblog on the weekends.

I think it will be posted on a weekday.

Hey, I know when it will be released! M'aiq will answer our questions! IN the GAME!

How do you like that?

But seriously, I think it's gonna be up this week, they can't hold it longer. And the work they are doing so long is not answering the questions itself, it's deciding what questions to answer and what they already can tell now. So don't think it's that easy. Anyways, I really hope they will not dodge the questions we really want to know now, and finally say about vampires/werebeasts and what's so epic about the new faction system they made. At least.

honestly I have cut my posting down to like a few posts every couple days now instead of posting on anything and everything every day now because i am burned out and fed up waiting for it. I wonder if they are waiting until forum activity slows down to deliver? It's just that everything has been hashed and rehashed on the forums. I am starting to see threads like "Is this race in" and "Are crossbows and spears in?" really? That stuff is meant for when the skyrim forum was opened not after we have already discussed it a hundred times fold. We need new information we can have fun with but we are recycling topics.

I'm wondering if out of all the many journalists who have watched the 45-minute Park City demo and the 30-minute E3 demo, there are maybe one or two who, upon questioning by rabid fans, might be able to answer some of our questions based on what they saw during the demo or heard from devs at that time (but perhaps didn't think it was that important to mention in their article).

You've been a member since 2005. I'm sure you've seen the same thing happen with Oblivion. And I am sure it happened before Morrowind was released as well. That's just the nature of forums in general. This practice will continue after the game is released, so you better be prepared to svck it up.

I hope the questions don't come from the general populace.

"Todd, little Johnny from Oklahoma wants to know. "Are dragons going to be awesome?" And Halo4Ver wants to know "If my character gets a 7 kill streak can the player call in a dragon strike for 60 seconds?"

Hope not. Also I hope it's not another one of these: "So, I heard you guys have something called Radiant Story", or "So, you're Dragon-Born, right?", or "When does this game come out?"

But I guess it's a fan interview...

What does being dragon born entail?
How big are the dragons?
Can you party with dragons?
Are dragons a big part of skyrim?
Are dragons a small part of skyrim?
Are dragons a medium part of skyrim?

This will be the fan interview.

You forget:
How many dragons are there in Skyrim?

Or on a broader scale, every question that's been answered at E3 will be in.

Nice move there!
Though i don't think the Devs will be particularly inpressed, not to the point of giving you cardiomassage via fan interview.
:D

I wonder what's keeping them. Besides teasing us to death, could it be they're trying to finish up an undisclosed feature so they can announce it without risking another Oblivion Incident?

As long as we get some decent info on:

The Crafting system
Armor segments
Other factions
New additions such as fishing/farming
vampires/werewolves
the 13 types of ore (which they won't because the questions were asked before that was revealed, DAMN)
Romance (confirm if it's in or not)
hardcoe mode

I will be happy.

I joined around the end of when Oblivion was in creation if I remember correctly and then started coming on the forums again when Skyrim started getting interesting to me. I have always loved TES but I am a fan of many other games too.. that and I just forgot about the boards.. I was too busy playing the games :) So I am not that aware of how it goes to be honest. I don't want to assume I do know when it would be a lie.
