Coincidental. You're still a jerk.

Seriously though, E3 was basically a megaton dropping on our schedules, devs and marketing alike. We'll get it up as soon as humanly possible.

From a marketing perspective is all the pomp, tension, and general stress really worth it? Or thanks to you folks do the developers just keep on trucking through the whole E3 process?

Thanks Nick, can't wait to read the Q&A.

Do we know what format it'll be in? A text article?

There will definitely be text. We're looking into some other possibilities, too.

Hang in there!

It's really a shame those hackers did what they did. I wouldn't blame Bethesda if they decided to push the date back for the Q/A

LOL @ Nick.. Devs aren't human! :) Gstaff, I have noticed Todd doing interviews all around with german sites and even with Notch. Any possibility that he can drop in and say hi to us folks and help the morale? Even just a hello to know he cares would be epic and much appreciated. We know you guys are busy but 2 minutes to post a big hello and thanks for stickin with it from the Todd man himself could do wonders to morale.

I remember in a couple Meet the Devs threads, Todd did a quick post to say hi, and I was like "eeee Todd!"

I did some past research on dates when they did Fan Q&A and the days aren't specific. That means it could go up tommorow, next monday, sunday, whenever. It means when they are done answering the questions it will be posted and then we. :celebration:

Thanks for that. I remember the post he made in the very first "Meet the Devs" thread. It got me so pumped for the game! Even though it's old, the Fallout 3 Q&A should be a cool read. Does anyone know if Todd has posted at all in the forums after that initial post in the first Meet the Devs thread?

Nice sleuthing! So even if he isn't necessarily posting, at least we know that he is indeed occasionally lurking, and reading some of the threads. That's good to know! :celebration:

I don't know, I haven't seen him on the boards so either he's in the anonymous user section of the forum or he's watching the forum as a guest and writing down notes "Certain forum users want X feature back in, I have not determined if it is not Superflous, or is Superflous to the game".

I actualy doubt that the devs take too many of our ideas on board. They are all professional game developers who are paid to come up with awesome ideas, and it would be so much more satisfying for them to implement their own ideas, as opposed to shoe-horning in the ideas of others.

They did tweak Archery a bit because of an Archery mod that someone came up with. Although I do agree that they do have their own ideas as to what they want in the game.

Yeah, that's one example that Bethesda themselves have cited with regards to ideas from the community that they have put into their next project. Can anyone cite any others?

Pete just told me on twitter "What's holding up the fan interview getting done is getting the game done. Sorry for the delay. Hopefully soon."

Todd mentioned in his recent chat with Notch Persson that fans hated the fact that the game ended after you finished the main quest in FO3, so he took that into consideration when developing Skyrim and for future games.
