when will release Crysis 3 in Steam?

I was extremely disappointed that the game was tied to the Origin. Because of this, I decided not to buy. Tell me when Crysis 3 will be released on Steam?

Never. Hop off the "Origin svcks" bandwagon and just by the game because you want to play it. Origin runs just as well, if not better than Steam.

Heh, that's debatable. A few hours after Crysis 3 was available to play, my copy magically disappeared from my games list and I could not play it. It wasn't until several hours later that the game reappeared and Origin allowed me to "play" the game once more.

Plus I think a lot of the "Steam vs Origin" debate is about the fact that a lot of people would prefer to have one central place where all of their online games are stored, rather than having umpteen different accounts/systems, like Steam, Origin, etc.

That's what I'd prefer anyway. I've not had any issues with Origin, but I already had a load of games in Steam before Origin even came into existence, and it bugged me that I couldn't just use Steam for everything. But.. what can you do.

Don't make me laugh sir.

I bought Crysis 3 Digital Delexe edition and got Hunter Edition. It took me 2 hours with the support until they finally activated Crysis 1 and Crysis 2 ME, after that, I got Hunter Edition with the two bonus packs and not the Digital Deluxe, so I didn't get the in-game day one unlocks they promised nor the exclusive camos.

Can you tell me how did you contact EA? What game did you select, subcategory, etc. I have the same problem with my Hunter Edition and would like to get my C1, but the live chat option never appears.

I seriously don't understand why people are so afraid of Origin, once upon a time Steam was a new thing and everybody hated it and it had it's share of issues early on. Now those same people are treating Origin the same way, yes Origin has some issues but it's still a relatively new service and with each update it gets better. Contrary to what some may want to believe Steam has issues as well. Just a few weeks ago every single game in my Steam library had vanished from my HDD and had to be reinstalled or redownloaded, ya I think Steam has it's share of problems...

I understand the thought of having one central place to get all of your games and expansions, but you gotta look at the bigger picture here. Origin is needed, without it Steam would pretty much have a monopoly on the PC platform for games. Even if you despise EA you should be happy Origin exists, because competition is always good for the consumer.

Origin constantly fails me on purchases. Ease of use was a little rocky at first which is understandable, Steam wasn't great when it first deployed as well. But purchasing games on Steam overseas and stateside, have been incredibly smooth, and to my memory I haven't had an issue making purchases. Trying to buy Games on Origin overseas is a chore. I'm 600+ game purchases on steam and 4 on Origin. If Origin was more friendly to my ability to make a purchase, then Crytek and other game Developers wouldn't have lost a sale. I'm not afraid of Origin, I'm displeased with their service.

it will never be released to steam for a solid reason, its an EA game and it belongs to origin, just like bf3 u have to buy it via origin, sry to break it to you this way either that or go to the store and buy the disc, and stop complaining

Do you need an Origin account if you buy the disk? I already got it on Origin, but I was wondering if it was like Crysis 2, where you didn't need Origin. You just load the disk in and play.
