When you enter in a car

Post » Sun Aug 30, 2009 8:25 pm

Hello people, I wrting this with the hope that Crytek read and correct this.
In Crysis, when you pulse the interaction key to enter in a car you appear directly inside the car. In a part of the video that yours can see in the gameplay of Crysis 2 in the E3 I see that this too happen.
I think that Crytek should correct this for the player can see all movements that a person doing for enter in a car. More realist.

I agree. Come on Crytek! What was this I heard about attention to detail? Could you also (i'm sure it's too late by now but hey) put in some body physics, ie. when I shoot a corpse I get more than a puff of dust from beneath.

Like when we played Crysis on Delta, you must click on the button action to collect the weapons. This option makes sense in the highest difficulty mode of the game.

Even in the lowest difficulty it's fun. Ever played FarCry 2? Your stuck in first person, no matter if your getting in/out of a car, driving, or any other various actions, no skip-frames, it's a nice smooth, from opening the door to climbing from the turret to the driver seat.

Yeah, they did that for a simple reason: In Germany there would be need to cut the game if they'd include that. And that's something Crytek doesn't want.

Well, although you stated something which is indeed important, it's not really a big priority when you look at it, in terms of development.

It'd be nice though seeing your character open the door (You see those beautiful hands lol), gets onto the seat, shuts the door (If applicable) and then turn on the ignition.

But yeah, it would be great to see it that.
