Ive pre-ordered skyrim.

If it's like the rest of the games i pre-order, i should get it a day or two early.

I'll likely wait a few weeks and see what the buzz is on the forum from those who's opinions I trust. I could care less what sources like Gamespot and other "review" sites say.

I know what kept me playing Morrowind for as long as I did. If the same features aren't available in Skyrim, I doubt I'll want to spend the money.

Same here, although I can often read between the lines on review sites and ignore the "scores". It would also be in my interest to play the Fallout entries since it's stated that much of Skyrim's RPG/leveling mechanics have evolved from those titles.

I'm on PC, I need to be very critical of what I buy - no rentals, no refunds. Even though it could eventually get modded to my desire, there are other ways I'd rather spend my limited gaming time.

Without better info & a demo, Day 1 rental. If I like it then I'll buy it.
Learned not to spend money on games before getting a test drive.

If I can get a parent to take me to the midnight launch then I will get it then. If not then in the early morning. I have a day off school for Remembrance Day on November 11th.

Release day.
I might get CE but there has hardly been any collector's edition that I want for 70$+.
For instance Fallout: New Vegas collector's edition was 80$. Back in April I was at my local gamestop and they had it for 30$.
I'll probably just wait it out for the collector's edition.

I'm actually in the process of acquiring munitions with which to hijack the lorries that carry the games off the ships/planes that bring them over to the UK from wherever they're mass produced. I'm getting my copy early.

I very rarely get video games before looking at reviews. The last one for me was Starcraft 2, and I cant even think of any before that. I like Bethesda's track record though, so I'm confident in a day one purchase/preorder

As soon as it comes out, no doubt in my mind. Unless I of course... die. Which I HOPE doesn't happen.

I plan to play and mod it on the day it is released. The only thing that will stop me from playing it that day is death itself.

The only game I have ever stayed up late for in order to get in at Midnight was Halo 3 and that was only because I was bored and had nothing to do the day after. I hated Halo 3 by the way. Anyway, as far as Skyrim is concerned. This will be the second game that I will have stayed up to make a purchase at Midnight. I will take the following day off from work.

I voted "as soon as it comes out" but in truth it'll be the day before release  I'll be preordering from game.co.uk and every single time I preorder from them it gets delivered the day before release date - it's great...

Anyone that views the forums every day would be crazy not to get it the first day.
