Where is all my stuff?

Hey everyone. Played the multiplayer back when it was beta before the game came out. Got pretty high leveled up then game came out and back to 0 and no unlocks. I thought okay whatever I preordered the game and got the limited edition code to get the extra stuff.

Played multiplayer and single player for a month or so got pretty high up (it showed on my profile before level 30) had many of the guns unlocked.

Now I uninstalled the game a few months ago and used the thing to make sure I would get my download thing back (ddrm stinks btw). Reformatted my computer (cause I do that sometimes) then just a few days ago re-downloaded the game to start playing again.

I know that my single player saves and such wouldn't be there cause I never backed up my saves before I uninstalled. But looked at multiplayer im back to level 1 or whatever and none of my old weapons are unlocked and all that and so far im not seeing my hologram attachment my extra dog tag thingy or even the skin for the scar you get with your limited edition purchase.

I went to reenter the code (assuming it probably didn't work anyways but why not try it out) and it said code didn't work (it did before when I first played the game).

So anyways my question is... WHERE is all my unlocked stuff? Are you seriously telling me every time I uninstall the game or something like that I lose everything? And also where is the extra stuff I paid for when I pre-ordered?

Cause seriously.. if I can't get that back im seriously going to be ticked off and want my money back since I paid extra to get the game when it came out plus those extra little things. if I would have known I would get ripped off like this I would have just waited a few months for the game to be 30 bucks or less which is what ended up happening anyways.

Can anyone help me out or know the answers to this? I can maybe understand if they maybe reset EVERYONES unlocks cause of the rampant cheating/hacking that was going on (what caused me to get tired of the multiplayer back when I first started playing) but even so I should still have my pre-paid content linked to my gamesas.com account I would think.

Strange, shouldn't be happening. Are you sure you didn't make a new account or something, and that is the exact name your level 30 hard? Because even on C2Stats you're showing up as a lvl 1.

I never made any other account. And if I look on my profile on the "leaderboard" it shows me as number 5 with lots of XP (I would think after all this time more players would have higher then me but yeah) and shows my rank as Sargent III which I was at before I stopped playing months ago.

But yeah I had almost all weapons unlocked up to the grenade launcher and I know for a fact I have the limited edition game since I prepaid for it and used the code once the game was out and had the hologram attachment and all that. I played long enough to get quite a few of the suit unlocks to.

There is a screenshot of it. I KNOW I was higher then level 1. I just recently played a match thinking maybe that might help fix whatever this is and give me back my stuff but its acting like im playing the game for the first time.

Thought I might clear something up.
1. Progress was wiped after the MP demo.
2. There are people many higher than you, but the leaderboard only shows players around your XP amount.
3. As for the missing levels, that is unknown. We have had a few server glitches over the past couple of months (the most recent rebooted me to level 1).

It is different from an autoreboot... There are three things going on:

1) When you reformatted, the contents of C:\users\\Saved Games\Crysis 2 were lost.... Your progress in the campaign was there, as well as a subfolder for profiles created in singleplayer. The singleplayer profiles also hold details about your multiplayer progress which is not stored "in the cloud": Loadouts, browser settings, dogtags, unlocks, some assesment info. etc.

In general if the Profiles folder is lost, the account will get some odd behavior, but no ranking, weapon stats, XP, kill counts, etc will be lost.

2) There have been several sweeps of the player database since you last played; not to purge old users, but to trim the cheats off the leaderboard and to help fix other issues people were happening. There was a "Sunday Account Maintenance" going on for a while... Also it appears that certain types of (fairly rare) desyncs with the Gamespy servers can cause an XP reset. I have experienced this too. It IS frustrating. The differences in your stats between gamesas.com stats and C2STATS.com are consistent with this error.

Over the course of things a number of active users have experienced XP resets. Being inactive may have upped the chances of that, I don't know.

3) Your Limited Edition content should still apply. Unfortunately it is tied to a single account, which is now somewhat glitched, and its a use-once code. Since you havent played in a while and are at Level 1 anyway, I strongly recommend creating a new account from the in-game menu and starting from scratch. Unfortunately, there is just no way to restore this account to where it was.

There was some recent work on L.E. bonus code issues: I will bring up your case as well. Further contact about any progress there will be by PM. I cant guarantee the L.E. content, but I will keep you posted.

Okay well that stinks. I knew something was wrong when all of a sudden im back to level 1. Most online multiplayer things keep your stats and such even if you reformat your computer. I might still have the old folder with the crysis stuff in it since I can check my previous stuff in the windows.old (im using windows 7 btw). I just looked now and I still have the old crysis 2 folder with the stuff in it. Idk if I should just replace my new one with the old one or not or if that would cause problems but yeah.

But that stinks that I was never informed by e-mail or on here at all about resets to my stuff. Im okay with starting from scratch kinda I can understand that to help fix the cheaters/hackers. But the limited edition stuff like the hologram and stuff was stuff I should get back since I did pre order the game and paid for it and all.

But now I might have to create a whole new account?

Also just to be clear im okay with starting all over again in single player I was expecting that. Just not multiplayer so is there really a need for me to create a whole new account?
