Where is all the Info and the marketing its only 4 and bit weeks to release!

i mean look at rage it was all over the place, and Battlefield 3 you cant ignore it its EVERYWHERE!.

some one needs to get fired or taken to execution.

where are all the developer dairy, where are The Voice acting crew videos, where are all the exaggerated game trailers like dead island had which came out to be verry different game then what was shown at the trailer.

where is Todd?, bethesda needs to Hire Peter molyneux, so he can promise things that wont be in the game eventually. but he will show himself! alot!

there are no statements no hints about what going on

Edit:

Does Bethesda even know that Major Website steals info From THIS fourm! for you guys and makes articles about skyrim, This lake of info is killing everyone, i saw more the a few articles that took all the info from this fourm i even saw some of them were big known websites, see how bad the lake of info is ?

Oblivion was overambitious with its hype and PR, and thus Skyrim is a bit more withdrawn. Perfectly honest, I'm much happier with this because I want to experience the game first hand, and not have everything spoiled for me. Plus, it's probably insane crunch time down at the studio.

What should we expect out of October as far as Skyrim is concerned? (besides the requirements for pc and the game going gold).

Meh, all the websites and mags are basically hyping up the game (very heavily), so I'd say that's its advertisemant.

@DCDeacon Hey Pete, how long before release will Skyrim be done?

@IamJodyLee soon.

@DCDeacon Hey, who won the speedrun on Skyrim, and what is the time record for the MQ?

@IamJodyLee Speedrun finals got postponed. Will let you know.

@DCDeacon I don't like the word postponed anywhere near Skyrim.

@yanks4champs don't worry. If it was delayed you'd know by now. It's 11.11.11.

That's all you need to know :tes:

the developer dairy, where are The Voice acting crew videos,

If they released these kinds of things, people that ordered the collector's edition would probably get pissed off (making-of DVD).

where are all the developer dairy

Whoah, is this confirmed? I know we're supposed to get the ability to help grow vegetables and stuff, but we can run a dairy? Or is that just devs?

On a serious note though, BGS is more like Apple than like Blizzard when it comes to prerelease details. That strategy probably negatively impacts sales figures in the 3 month range, but getting GOTY in a few prominent venues likely saves their total long term sales figures from being significantly lower than they might have been otherwise.

At this point in the game, they have done all the necessary marketing moves. They have attended trade shows, had the press over for short gameplay demonstrations so they could write about it, and have released actual gameplay to the general public. Watch though, when we get to 30 days out from its release, the Bethesda marketing machine that is Todd Howard will be at full force. They don't need to over hype it now....they need to do that with 1-2 weeks left before release. Todd knows what he's doing and to be flat out honest.....I'd much rather have Todd Howard than Peter M. any day!!

Do not mention the hated, lying, two face creator of Fable anywhere near TES.

if Peter molyneux was hired to create TES, I would never buy another Bethesda product as long as I live. Peter molyneux is to video gaming what Hitler is to german history, just a big ugly thing everyone wishes could be forgotten

This^ Peter Sellout-neux ruined the Fable franchise so badly they didn't even go on making DLC for 3 because people just detested the game, which is still broken full of bug's and a complete rip compared to the 1st and second games. Keep Peter away from Bethesda at all cost's, he is like plague. Also, Bethesda please for the love of god do not sell out to Micro$oft. You are already doing so giving the Xbox user's first hands on the DLC please lets leave it at that as they will ruin you like so many companies before you.

Anyone who dares suggest that Peter Molyneux be brought anywhere near the Elder Scrolls game is either a troll, a enemy provocator or clinically insane & they deserve to be tar'd and feathered. I'd rather less to no advertising and hype then nothing but streaming lies and bravado B.S from a man with delusions of granduer like him. :flamethrower: :homestar:

Yeah, Beth marketing could have handled it better. I know people don't want the game spoiled, but there's stuff they can do without spoiling it. Like telling us the minimum and recommended specs. That alone would be great.

Why on earth do you care about their marketing strategy for a single player game?

Surely it doesn't matter if you're the only person in the world who buys it as far as you're concerned?

The way they are approaching Skyrim is a direct response to the criticism they recieved from Oblivion and Morrowind, where they practically showed EVERYTHING. I prefer how they are going with it with Skyrim. It fits this kind of game better.
