Where is all the Ore to mine? : V

I see countless flowers herbs etc but I have yet to see any ore to mine.

What been mistake am I doing. I keep a pick In my inventory .

They are mainly in Mines... which is represented by two crossed pickaxes... then just look all over the mine. There is also an occasional ore deposit out in the wilderness as well.

I've found multiple ore deposits in every cave I've been in. They're not easy to see; they don't stand out from the rest of the cave at all. Your best bet is to slowly go over the walls and floor of the next cave you're in until you find one. Once you know what to look for it's easy to spot them.

Two very safe mines in Dawnstar. One you could seriously profit from, and another is just meh.

Its just around and if you see on Pickaxe and a hammer crossed that is where they are.

Go to mines. There's scarce amounts of ore along the landscape, so delve into mines.

You will see a big chunk of boulder sticking out of the ground with veins of metallic color and sheen. If you have an eye for details they stick out before you even realize what they are.

There is a camp of Forsworn, West of Whiterun, (i forget the name though) that has wooden fort (sharpened logs) and inside the dungeon proper there is a TON of ore. It's noticeable because they appear to harvest mammoths there also.

Go north, north east of the main city northrun i think. i just found a mine in that direction thats full of iron ore. Litteraly dozens of individual ore veins in the walls and ground. And the icing on the cake, A spell there that allows you to change iron ore into silver and gold ore.
oh and theres lots of mamoth tusks there to.
