Where are all birds going

Was wondering if there was an efficient way to remove the aggressive bats or the aggressiveness from the bats?

I used MWEdit to remove the 2 bat creatures but the mod/game didn't like it very much, complained on start up with a warning.

Could I just change their AI state to passive or defensive?

Thanks for any tips.

Load it up in the construction set and find the bat. Double click on it and look down the bottom for a tab called AI (or something) it is there you can set the aggressiveness of a creature. 100 meaning it will attack on site and 0 meaning it wont attack at all.

You were mostly there first off in the removal, but you should have loaded it afterward in the CS and then saved it once the creature had been removed from leveled lists or whatever. Then on loading the error message will not appear.

All good!

If you have access to the Construction Set, it's pretty easy to modify their aggressiveness. Load the mod, click on the Creatures tab, then double click on ab01bat01. In the box that pops up, click the AI button. The number you're looking for is listed as Fight, and can be raised/lowered to suit your needs. Repeat with ab01bat02.

It's a little harder with Enchanted Editor. In the listing that it brings up for both, the relevant numbers are near the bottom, in the row just above where it displays the AI subrecord. The relevant numbers to modify are 68 (ab01bat01) and 80 (ab01bat02).

I've never used MWEdit, so I don't know if you can access the Fight setting for them using that.

And if you do go through with removing them completely, make sure you remake your merged leveled list or mashed list after that, as that tends to complain too.
