I picked up only 2 torches at the beginning of the game. I haven't found any stores at all yet that sell torches. Haven't found them in any of the countless barrels, chests etc. The only time I can acquire them is by pick pocketing or looting guards that carry them.

They're all over the walls in dungeons my friend

Some NPC's carry them, and you can often pull them right off the walls of caves and mines. Doesn't seem like you can buy them anywhere, for whatever reason.

You can grab some of the torches hanging from walls in dungeons/caves.

Thats how I stockpiled a bunch lol,stole them all from caves.

i find them in caves but im wondering how much do u guys actually use them?! lol i never have

and they always screw with Sneaking and such
