Hanna is in the IC Waterfront Shack. She had set out from Bravil to the IC, to try to recover Ardaline's mages staff, but since she'd only the day before traveled the road to Bravil, she decided to explore a bit on the way back and followed the shore of the Niben instead. Along the way, she gathered quite a bit of nirnroot - enough that she was going to have to take a trip to Skingrad to deliver some more to Sinderion. When she got to Lake Rumare, she decided to detour to Skingrad right then and there and then return by way of the Imperial City. It was a mostly uneventful trip - having already passed that way a few times, she knew to be wary of monsters near Greenmead and Grayrock, and easily took out the Imps that were there with her bow (there are few things quite as gratifying as hitting an Imp who's so far away that he's little more than a speck). The only trouble she ran into was passing the mine east of Skingrad. She had already encountered goblins there before, but had gotten by with the assistance of a passing Imperial soldier. This time she approached slowly, but when she didn't see anything, she relaxed. As near as she can guess, there was an invading army of goblins approaching from the other side, or maybe a war going on inside the mine spilled outside or.... in any event, when she was about halfway down the hill, she heard something following her (I have music turned off), and turned and saw a goblin chasing her. Followed by another. Further up, in front of the mine entrance, were probably half a dozen more, locked in battle with each other. She conjured her newest and best friend - a Timber Wolf - and he, along with a few of her fireballs, dealt handily with the two goblins chasing her. Then she just stayed where she was and waited until the battle in front of the mine died down, then loosed the wolf on the survivors. It took a cast of Ease Burden, plus a cast of Fortify Strength, plus two different feather potions to be able to carry all the loot to Gunder's shop, but the profit she turned on it almost made up for the enormous amount of money she'd just spent buying spells from Ita Rienus. She then delivered the nirnroot to Sinderion and knocked around the Skingrad guild hall, trying to evade the clutches of the lechers, Vigge and Sulinus, until Sinderion had finished the latest potion, then took an entirely uneventful trip back to the IC, arriving on the Waterfront in the middle of the night.
