Where are you now?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:39 am

Simple enough, eh?

My character Lothran is currently in Skingrad county, for several reasons. He needs alchemical supplies and the area around Skingrad has lots if useful plants to pick up. He also wants to revisit old friends such as Salmo the Baker and the Surilies. Last but certainly not least, his need for wandering around is greater than it has been for a long time :)

What about you?

I finally decided to start up the MQ with my character, so after taking care of a couple things back home in Skingrad, my character will be off to the Imperial City to assist with an investigation.

Took kind of a long time to get from Kvatch to north of Bruma, since Eileen insisted upon picking at all of the roadside vegetation the entire way. You can never have too much steel-blue entoloma and flax. :D

Enjoy Skingrad, Lothran!

Buffy is currently in Bravil. The annual Tournament of Archers is being held there this year, and her archery master, Daenlin, has asked her to compete by his side. Her master has won the last seven tournaments, and Buffy is optimistic that he will win again. The crowds that have descended upon her little forest town on the river have temporarily swelled the place into a veritible and festive tent city, full of merchants and vendors displaying exotic wares that rival the shopping in Imperial City.

Lissa is currently in Bruma, trying to get use to the cold and snow.

Ever since a very unfortunate incident in Skyrim she has been less than enthusiastic to spend any sort of time in an ice cold environment.

She recently bought a house in Bravil, but has been told of a beautiful, cozy house for sale at a reasonable price in Bruma, hence her trying to overcome her fears; although her fear of snow quite agressive and may never go away :/

Melodia (her father was a Bard) has just purchased a small house in the Waterfront District, and is presently brewing potions to earn enough to furnish the place. She's an itinerant Alchemical Supply Merchant, and she's growing tired of living out of a backpack all the time. Now she'll have a centrally located place to store her supplies, and to put her feet up by the fireplace when she's not on the road. In short, a home.

My decrepit avatar, accompanied by Vilja, is currently at the northeastern most section of the Red Ring Road fruitlessly searching for a mysterious "stepping stone" purportedly located in that general vacinity. Their pack-donkey and tamed-wolf companion have been left at home in Weye Village, as have their mounts. It is rare for them to travel sans caravan, but if said stone is found and activated they are apt to translocate anywhere on the map. That's no fit venture for four-legged beasts.

Helena is taking her time in Anvil. She loves the town and doesnt fancy the walk to Skingrad next. How she desires a white horse.

Runa Ice-Veins, my Nordic Frost Maiden (Atronach Alchemist with frost magic and an axe) is in Bruma. Just starting her story.

Morgana Rielle, a red headed Breton Thief is at the Imperial City, stealing to eat.

Chani Belavyn is in Cheydinhal, waiting for word from her Mistress, the Arch-Magister of House Telvanni.

I'm in the proccess of finding a good character (as always), so here's two I'm determined to stick with

Rythe is at a village that has popped up in an inlet in the Lower Niben. He is checking for floating boulders, that the houses are accessible and the land looks nice, so a builder named Ni! can continue :P

Ancoi Tierre has just arrived in Cyrodiil and is at the Merchants Inn, looking for a room.

After a tremendously enjoyable solitary hike across the Jeralls from Bruma to Cheydinhal, to report success on her last mission to Vicente at the DB Sanctuary, Tina is currently on her way to the Imperial City, to rest up a bit and prepare for a stealthy trip through the sewers to visit an old acquaintance in the Imperial Prison.

She's actually not getting much satisfaction out of the DB and was considering just letting it go, but she's looking forward to this mission. She remembers that particular Dunmer well....

Currently residing outside the Anvil walls, taking out yet another Oblivion gate has really worn her out.

My Kajhiit is currently making the hike back to the Jerall Mountains after liberating the armor of tiber septim. After that, probably down to Bruma to sell some loot.

after 5 years of experience and some of the baddest dudes that ever existed....i learned that that the toughest dude with all magical armor is nothing compared to a dude with brains...i started mixing in spells..and even without some i make sure my dude is covered....i buy the stuff like feather and waterbreathing...and if i get the water walking amulet i keep it with me...cause i recall one place it comes in handy...right now i have started a new dude with light armor...and this might sound weird, but my skin turned blue except for my face....from the beard down is a weird blue gray and my brown hair turned blueish....but this dude hasn't died and is tougher than some dude with all the armor and attributes.....ain't that weird...give me some fur armor and a sword .....i love this game...of course i use my hot keys and all of them serve....

Arch-Mage Sabarel is currently attending to the Mages Guild on a wet and rainy morning in the Imperial City. She has neglected her duties of general running of the Guild in the last few weeks as she had read of a Aylied Ruin she hadn't discovered, while she was researching a rare ingredient. Thus she had to leave and go explore one last time.

This is gonna be a bit extensive, but I really really feel in the mood :P Sorry!

"Whilst on the middle of his journey to Bruma, to complete a contract regarding the Stone of St. Alessia, Hulgarth noticed it was getting dark. As such, he decided to start searching a place to sleep during the night, for he had travelled miles on a single day through the wilderness and needed much rest. Spotting a fortress on the horizon, he headed there. He could see the city of Chorrol not very far from where he was, but decided it was too much of a drift from his path, and he seeked no company, for which a semi-secluded fortress seemed the best.

Upon reaching the fortress's gates, Hulgarth frowned as he saw that the stronghold was under attack, perhaps by a group of bandits or mercenaries searching for a new base. He helped the defenders of the keep, and the invaders were dead in no time: few warriors could match Hulgarth now. After the battle, he asked one of the soldiers if he could stay at the stables overnight. However, the guard had other intentions as a mean of expressing his gratitude. He seeked to make Hulgarth the new lord of the Stronghold, very vehemently indeed. Hulgarth assured him he had no interest in being a Lord and owning a Keep, for he wanted but a simple life in his Imperial City house. Relentlessly, the guard kept insisting, to the point that our hero was fed up with it, and simply decided to leave and pass the night somewhere else.

He travelled west, up a hill, and finally found a rock at the side of which he deployed his bedroll and laid down to sleep.

He is there as we speak, sleeping a restless sleep, for dreams of the fate of his friend Ruin still haunt him."

And that is it. Normally I would have just said "west of Battlehorn Stronghold, on a bedroll, on a quest for the Fighter's Guild", but I don't know why, I felt the need to write a little eheh (even if I realize most people won't read it ;) ). Hope this isn't too much off-topic :whistling:

And I must say I am very much positively surprised to see how many RPers there seem to be around here  ! I would like to ask if there is an organized Oblivion RP community, or if you just hang around here most of the time... Do you support your private RPs with fanfics?

Devin is currently resting at the Tap and Tack in Bruma. He plans on visiting the local mage guild to see about a recommendation.

And Urrinor, from what I've seen, people usually hang out here and over at Chorrol.com where lots of fan fic can be found.

Oh, not at all. You just happened to be a bit more extensive than most. Interesting read I must say, but I′m glad not all do that. My time is as everyone else′s, limited

Like Buffy, Teresa is currently in Bravil. Her Fighters Guild Commander signed her up to compete in the same Tournament of Archers taking place there. She is looking forward to seeing the other archers shoot, but not exactly thrilled about doing the same. Shopping in the city of merchant tents that have sprung up in the fairgrounds does meet with her approval however! So far she has met three other guild archers from other chapters who have come for Bravil for the tourney as well. While she hit it off with Parwen, the other wood elf ditched her while shopping for the sake of Fathis Aren. The other two - Lum and Kurz gro-Baroth, immediately got on her bad side by treating her like a serving girl. Lum has at least made an effort to make it up, but Kurz seems to be too busy in the taverns to even shoot in the tourney.

I like reading these.

I'm actually at a very epic moment in my game (I'm assuming). About to walk into White Gold tower so I can meet Martin and Jauffre. Martin has the Amulet. :) Guess we'll see what happens in there.
