Where to bring a certain undead stalker to die...again?

Post » Sat Dec 03, 2011 4:18 pm

I'll try and be vague so as not to spoil anything for anyone i relation to the quest I was on,but after retrieving a certain artefact in a certain ruin,I was set upon by an undead gentleman and his two lackeys.Deciding that discretion was the better part of valour, and in no shape or form because of cowardice, more benevolence on my part, I kindly decided to leave said would be assailants to continue their meagre existence however they saw fit.So after courageously turning invisible, picking a lock and nonchalantly running like the wind out of this certain ruin,it seems the gentlemen in question are unhappy with my borrowing of the previously mentioned artefact and are seeking me out to do me harm. Now I'm a peaceable sort, and when things get violent I prefer to let others do it to someone else, whilst I watch it all from a safe distance with a good view of the action! I'm also a svcker for not letting seemingly innocent folk get butchered on my account. So to the crux of my post, where do you suggest I lure my stalkers so I get to watch a big, bloody entertaining battle, whilst at the same time remaining relatively safe and no passers by get hurt?

Good call with Umbra, won't go near the city though, don't want any civilians damaged.Could bring them to the matron either.Would vampires or necromancers attack a liche or vice versa,or would they buddy up?

Vampires and Necros hate Liches. They won't dispose of the 2 Zombies though.

That's a pity, the dread zombies are more of a pain than the liche. This is going to be fun if it works out as I hope.

I'm sorry, can you put the creatures name in a spoiler tag. I believe I have never seen the quest but would still like to know :)

When I saw the title of this I was convinced it was going to be about the adoring fan, undead in the sense that he respawns :lmao:

Anyway I liked the suggestion about the imperial prison. No civilians there, just guards, and they can definitely hold their own when in packs.

No problem,It's
Spoiler
the King of Miscarand. From the mission Martin gives you before the Battle of Bruma,to find the great welklynd stone.I read somewhere if you don't kill him he'll come after you,you won't be able to sleep or wait until he finds you.Something similar happened after a different quest and i didn't fancy getting caught short in some dungeon so i thought I'd wait and have him meet an entertaining end in the place of my choice.

Unfortunately,he doesn't actually stalk you,as it turns out,but if you get arrested he'll appear outside the prison you're released from with his minions in tow.I'm a bit disappointed, was hoping I could lure him all over the place, face off against the matron or whatever, but I did get to see a decent but brief battle outside the Imperial city jail.I might see if it's possible to get him outside the walls of the other cities,Chorrol jail might work, but I doubt it.Imperial guards don't take kindly to undead sorcerers floating around trying to incinerate them it seems, and there are always lots of them about when you don't need them...

It only took four guards, and an unarmed khajiit to bring the 3 of them down, really quickly.A bit of an anti climix to be honest.

I once lured them to Cloud Ruler Temple and watched the Blades dispatch them. It didn't take long, since there were six Blades on duty at the time (including a certain Grandmaster). That was fun.

How did you get them there?I've tried luring them out of Chorrol, but too many guards, and they only show up outside jails for me.i never got the cannot wait, cannot sleep, enemies are nearby message, despite waiting about in the same area for 48 hours for them, had to get arrested then they appear, but they get swarmed by locals, and don't follow you outside.Chorral was entertaining though, they killed 5 people and one of the zombies disappeared....

The key is to get their attention. I made my presence known (by shooting each one in turn) and then left with them hot on my heels. I walked/ran straight to Cloud Ruler Temple with them in hot pursuit the whole way (though they occasionally stopped to kill a wolf, bear, boar or spriggan). Once we arrived at Cloud Ruler, the Blades did the ole Slice 'n Dice.
