Any time, just remember to save often when playing if you get the game, Daggerfall is amazingly buggy due to it's sheer scope.

I've been kind of curious to play Daggerfall but I've got a question though, do you need a special program to play it since its so old? I have Vista and I thought I heard you need something to run really old games.

A DOS emulator is needed to start it up, DOSBox should run it, the link to its homepage is on the Elder Scrolls website along with the download for Arena.

... daggerfalls?

Unneccesary pluralising is something I always enjoy.

Whenever something is out-of-print like DF, you have to expect to pay more, second-hand, for it.

You an get it in stores if your lucky like me.

Went into my local Second hand store one day, and while searching though the second hand games i found a copy for $10! They must havent known how rare it was, not like was going to tell them either :)

The Amazon marketplace, but be forewarned you'll rarely find it for less than $50ish there.

I have to disappoint you, it was the german version but with box and all.
Anyway, the whole game is in english except for the box and the manual.

Well, that does tend to influence the price. I got my English boxed copy (a complete UK release) for around 50 euros. I've rarely seen it go much cheaper then that.

The US release with the holographic artwork is even more (often a lot more) expensive. With reason :P

I found it at a store downtown around 7 miles from here... I was going to buy Battletoads for NES, then a thought came to my head, "Do you have Daggerfall?" They looked at me and said "Yeah,sure... its uh... right there" I was like OMG OMG, but I didnt say that out too loud lol. It was price tagged for $25. I bought it, and now I love it omg, I love my daggerfall CD! Perfect condition, but I finally got Battletoads the next month. I was freaking out so bad and I love it so much ahh *Drools drool* Now Im hungry... for some Daggerfall!... and some food!

The same price as the American version (hint: the regular edition is holographic).
