I wouldn't consider that much of a spoiler, you can may about any main character and its been well known that the PC will be able to marry in Skyrim, I think Camilla is just suppose to the the easiest if you just want to finish the marrage quest.

A bug can occur during the wedding ceremony at the Temple of Mara. After Maramal pronounces the player and the player's NPC of choice married, the NPC may start walking toward the temple's exit before Maramal is done speaking and player can move. If the NPC leaves the temple before the player can speak to him/her about where they will live, then the NPC will disappear. They will reappear if they are part of a quest, like Ysolda in "A Night to Remember".

Also I noticed, when you tell someone that is following you to "Leave" they actually will walk back to their home location. if the distance is far, it can take them a few hours of RL game time till they get back, and if they meet a dragon/Troll/Giant on the way back, they can be truelly killed (I don't think Camilla is flagged imortal). Might find the console command to revive her, if she comes back, she could have been killed on her long walk home).

I had a similar problem. Once I found that the married NPC had returned to their home location, but other times they disappear completely.

Try it again at different times of day or a different day and see if she appears in her house, if it still doesn't work then hold of marrying and hope it's fixed in a patch <_<

Camilla is involved in another quest, so if you haven't done it, she might reappear in Riverwood, unless marrying her locks that quest, i want to know so that my imperial soldier guy can marry her without worrying about this bug causing problems.
