Eh, nobody seems to care when we upload Arena and Daggerfall music

And as such I've uploaded it http://files.filefront.com/RedguardMusiczip/;10726505;/fileinfo.html.
If some silly mod has issues with that, I assume they'll let me know,

Bethesda needs to follow in Blizzard's footsteps and create a "Battlechest" with Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, and Redguard in it and sell it for $50~$80. It would sell so insanely well. Hell, I'd buy it just to have backups!

I seriously agree with that. If they wont do that, then Bethesda is just retarded, b/c they would make a major profit, and we would make a major load of fun out of it, for a long long time! So what is there to lose? If they still say no, then I wont know WHAT their problem is?? Maybe the problem might be they will have to deal with getting the money to the original dev's..... But other than that, I dont know an issue there...

Program troubleshooting and support would be an issue, and it has been disscussed MANY times before on this and other forums......

Impossible, they lost the Daggerfall source code.

Even if that rumor is true, they don't need the source to re-release the game.

Too true! All they need to do is re-bundle the exisiting distribution!

I'd be willing to kick in my copy of DFSPELL.EXE if they need it and maybe install.scr as well. That's two down!

DFSPELL? I'm not familiar with that one. Is it, as it's name may imply, a spell editor?

Yep. I couldn't tell you when or how long ago I got it, though. One of those things collected over the years...

I'd love to see it, if you can upload it somewhere or email it to me. Spells are one thing the character editors have never seemed able to tinker with, which has been disappointing.

The thing I liked best about it was that you could devise a spell and then purchase it at any guild. Helped once with a char who didn't have enough mana to even cast the beginning heal spell!

if the rumors are true, can't they just extract the source from a working installation?
