I've just try to find a wallpaper on http://www.gamesas.com/eng/index.php web site and I didn't notice any link to those wallpapers you're referring to.

That's what I mean, after taking down the old Elder Scrolls portal they've removed all of the old wallpapers. I was just hoping someone had them archived, or knew of a fanpage that still hosts them (tried usual culprits like TESNexus and PES but no dice).

You just gave me a possible site and guess what that site do have some wallpapers, but don't know if that's what you're looking for.
