Im doing the Discerning the Transmundane quest and all i need is wood elf blood. Where can I find a wood elf to kil?

I did this quest today and had the same problem. There is one in Riverwood, ranger kinda guy.

Pretty sure that archer guy in Riverwood is a wood elf. I haven't done that quest, so I don't know the details. Though I'd save before killing him, in case he's just a really tan dark elf. :ninja: Or you can hope to stumble upon a bandit somewhere.

Good luck. I have run into like a grand total of 2 wood elves, in over 40 hours of game time.

I found a number of them NE of Riften.

It's not hard to find a wood elf, just start killing anything with pointy ears, one is bound to eventually be a wood elf, and nobody is going to care because they're worthless elves.

Khajiit , Bosmer , Dunmer and Orsimers are all scarce.You can't find many of the others too , less Nords and their big axes.
