Where can I get a scope for my Hunting Rifle? : Fallout: New Vegas

Well, I use my hunting rife most of the time since it's pretty powerful and all, and now I want a scope. Never seen one in a merchants inventory so could anyone help me with this?

I'm level 21 By the way, if it matters.

You should be able to get one at Gun Runners.

I havent seen one yet. Only on boone's rifle.

I think at the 188 trading post, below under the overpass there is a gun runner rep. he may sell it... or the NCR gun salesman on top of the overpass at the 188 trading post... i think that is right.

Check Gun Runners, if they dont have one fast-travel away and wait three days so their inventory resets, then go back and check again.

BTW Hunting rifle is beastly in FO:NV to hell with the brittle-ass sniper rifle :toughninja:

There is no real set location, but checking at the 188 trade post, Gun Runners and SOMETIMES the Crimson Caravan can yield one in their Invo

Probably it depends of your level. I was able to find that upgrade at lvl 18.

Check the following.

Gun runners (normally has lots of weapon mods)
188 Trading post (also has a good selection.)
Novac gift shop (some times has mods)
BOS bunker store, only if you ended the quest one way.

Thanks guys, I went to gun runners but there was no scope there, but there was the custom action.

And I bought myself a sniper: The Anti-Materiel Rifle.

and some Ammo for all my weapons.

I had about, 10,000 caps maybe, now I have 86!

Probably it depends of your level. I was able to find that upgrade at lvl 18.

Woah what? I found one around level 8-9 O_o

Nope, the Sniper Rifle is still pretty powerful in its own right.
