If one of our members has uploaded something without permission, let us know and we will take it off.
Did you contact the author of
every mod on your site and request permission to host them there? If the authors do not know they are there, they certainly wont be around to support those mods or update them. Not to mention the inherent bad reputation you will get as someone who uploads the work of others without bothering to show the simple respect of asking for the privilege first. There are some mods by some very big names on your list. For example, you have Open Cities and New Roads and Bridges on there and, as Arthmoor is one of the authors, and from his post above, I'm betting you didn't bother asking his permission or that of the other authors first. :stare:
Why not give links to the legitimate download pages for all those mods, rather than usurping the authors right to host and maintain them themselves? That is more than acceptable and a common practice and does not infringe on a modders rights to his/her work nor require you to ask permission to link to the legitimate download pages.
