When you get a moment, please add www.testavern.com to the list. Thanks!

Done! Thanks.

OK, the good news is that I'm now accepting requests for hosting at http://www.thelys.org for Oblivion mods and tools. As per usual, until such a time as various 'backend' features are completed, it's a case of get in touch with me and I shall see what I can do. Unlike many of the larger mod hosts, submitting a mod to TheLys is not a guarantee that it'll get hosted, so please be aware of that!

Please, if you are going to submit a mod, do so by contacting me initially by PM here, or at http://www.thelys.org/forums. Please check http://www.thelys.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1245 for more information on submitting mods.

Regards,
Pauly

http://www.ufrealms.net doesn't have a mod database anymore, but I do offer modders hosting services for their own domains/subdomains. They can use said free webspace however they wish, just for holding mods, or for putting up a website and forums, etc.

So, I don't know how (or if) you want to list that, but it is a place where folks can upload mods - just a little differently than the other places.

Thanks to both of you! :) I will leave these posts in the thread so people can come to you for hosting but I don't think they should go on the list...

Fantastic list! Adding this one to my bookmarks! :)

As long as you've got compilations linked in there, might as well add mine "Overload's ModPack v3.0" http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=364223

Edit: Weird... way back when I replied to this thread it was written by someone else and had a completely different purpose, so my reply doesn't exactly make sense anymore!

We are all of the same mind, Overload. I've been maintaining a similar list of my own for personal use: http://oblivion.gamewikis.org/wiki/User:Loomy

I would like to suggest http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=1956. This mod does away with conventional 'leveling', automatically giving the player Attribute gains based on skill use. Most skills affect more than one Attribute at a time (my favorite feature). This is, in my opinion, a nicely-made mod, very stable, very well thought-out.

I'm not sure it fits the category, but you may want to add http://www.tweaper.com. Its a freeware utility I developed which can help to tweak Oblivion.ini. It seems to have helped many people get good results.

People should start uploading mods to other sites... TESSeource is not the only one out there... see the sig.

http://www.oblivionportal.com

You can upload your mods at our site :D

The whole uploading process is made 100% by yourself, so there's no delay time in wich the staff team goes through the submitted mods. We do of course check the database at a daily basis to keep it clean.

you forgot

http://www.filenova.co.uk (soon to be set up on www.modsource.co.uk but that is once we get a phpscripter to help us)

it is hosted on 3x 1gb lines and is set up fully for uploading of files!

the uploads will need admin authorisation but we are currently looking into having a large team of upload accepters on our site so this shouldnt be a problem!

thanks

Any chance of getting the http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=426106 listed in there, or something similar in it's own sticky?

There is a daily thread created by people asking how to install mods. One way or the other would really reduce the clutter in this forum. It moves way to quickly as it is without all the extra repeating threads.

That said, it's not the new users faults that they can't find the info easily and need to ask.

This info can be added to the list if you would like.
FREE:
If anyone needs full hosting for a website (free of ads), I can offer webhosting from my domain. This includes your own FTP access as well as the ability to put up a forum and use any PHP, CGI scripts.

Discussion of how much webspace you need can be done before the account is set up. I can offer a pretty generous amount that would be more than suitable for even a full-scale modification.
For more detailed information go here:
http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=470091

Contacting me would be best through PM on here, AIM, or EMAIL
by email - jdevine420(AT)gmail(DOT)com ,
by AIM - afterlifemobile
I'm also sometimes available on MSN - (same as email above)

Please be aware that I am not offering to create and build a website for you. I expect the hostee to know how to do this.
