Where can I upload/download Oblivion plugins/mods?

Post » Sun May 23, 2010 10:22 pm

The following sites have generously offered to host mods for Oblivion. They are in no way affiliated with Bethesda and are under complete control of their respective owners. You can have your mods hosted by them and also visit them to get Oblivion plugins/mods.
Please remember that if you post here it must be an Oblivion Mod site, no other game mod sites are to be listed here... Thank you and please drive thru...

Just a reminder, folks. This thread is to be used ONLY for posting your Oblivion-related modsites. All other links will be removed. Do not post your site more than once, and do not use this thread for chitchat or questions. If your link needs updating, do not add another post. Instead, PM a Moderator and one of us will correct it for you. Thanks.

One more thing, please allow people to post their own links. If you know about a good mod and think it should be listed here, please ask the author if you can list it, as they may wish to do it themselves.

Rules Reminder
(by Hungry Donner)

We do not allow links to sites that contain pirated or otherwise illegal content. If we learn that a site contains pirated or otherwise illegal content any links to that site will be removed.

Also, we will not allow linking to sites or communities that have age restrictions or are invitation-only.

Update - Feb 1 2007: this list will now be used for modding resources in addition to sites that contain plug-ins.

New Notice: Please be aware that you will be entering websites that are beyond the control of Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda Softworks is not responsible for the content at the site to which you are about to link.

Could you please add the oblivion mods wiki to the top of the post. Has listings of the mods Available across all those sites and these forums and info on what each does. http://www.tescreens.be/oblivionmodwiki/index.php/Category:Mods

I added it to the list... I think that is fair. I do not want to get in the habit of adding things to the top... Thank you for the link!

I'm amazed you don't have TES Source on here: http://www.tessource.net/ , as it has more mods than most of these sites put together.

http://www.gamingtown.net

Tons of mods there now and growing everyday we offer free hosting for all mods.

We also don't force people to register to download but we do require to upload.

Great speeds hot linking allowed!

I can't see how you missed us too hehe since the release Oblivion we been quite big. We use a forums type format makes it easyer for the people who upload and even download with search functions..

this more for hosting. I think they can be credited uploading anyone of these sites. I mean also unfair one modder got some geospace website.

These sites have time spent and cause to much pain and also theres a post floating around somonewhere.

Hey guys I'd be glad to set up an actual ftp for 10 people using my hosting which I'll set for you to have access to 300 mb. This is only because I have to actually make use of the space I'm getting.

I'll hook anyone up if you PM me personally.

Other than that I'll offer uploading/downloading plugins to my site for people to use.
Don't bother yet because I havent set up a stable Uploading plugin. I'm going to script one from scratch because all of the scripts I've seen on the net have been horrible.

Please folks remember this thread is just for the listing of sites that host mods... It is not a question and answer thread. That being said...

What about http://www.silgrad.com/cpo/news/ team?

done and thanks!

Can't do that. This is an unbiased alphabetical listing...

I'm hoping to start taking requests for hosting again at http://www.thelys.org fairly soon; the new look is almost complete (keeps getting put on hold by other projects) but I'll give a heads-up both here and in the Morrowind Modding forum as soon as we're ready to rock.

My apologies to all those who have contacted me regarding hosting.

Regards,
Pauly

MadPauly,
So nice to see you here! Are you going to be upgrading your fantastic Morrowind mods into Oblivion mods? I hope so .... aren't you the person who made the rabbit ears? Or am I thinking of someone else?
Anyway, as soon as your name comes to mind - so do quality, unique mods ... so I can't wait to download your Oblivion ones!

Are the mods the same on all the sites?

All I'm concerned with right now are mods to help improve the game graphics.

So far I have these:

Landscape LOD replacement textures (Border regions)
LandscapeLODTextureReplacement

My understanding is these are the only ones out for the maps.

THANKS
