Where Is Concrete?

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 6:03 pm

It's like a pantomime.

"He's behind you"!

In this case... it's all around me but my character needs to find concrete to make the settlers happy but despite large volumes of rock, stone etc... in the world around me... I can't find "concrete".

The crafting system in this game moves quickly from a Cut and Paste from "Skyrim" into a melting pot of "Minecraft", "Terraria" and "The SIMs" all directed by an evil genius who thought it would be hilarious to watch us all trying to to build a settlement without the slightest notion of how to do it.

Concrete anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Az

There is a large stack of concrete bricks just behind the armor crafting table in Sanctuary.

Well don't I feel silly.

I'm currently off to shoot some Raiders in the face but when I get back it will hopefully still be there.

Thanks.

It's easy to miss because it looks like part of the building, but when you go into edit mode you can highlight the brick stack.

Wow it took a while to shoot those Raiders in the face.

Got to love getting stuck in the scenery... perpetually.

On my way back now. Hopefully they won't have gone anywhere.

Yeah, there are cinder blocks (white bricks) all over the place. There are more at the Red Rocket station too. There's also a bag of cement in the Concord museum which when broken down gives concrete too.

Um, you can also scrap ANYTHING in your settlement. Go into workshop mode in Sanctuary for example, highlight any of the destroyed houses you can't enter and you can scrap it for a loooot of concrete.

Again thanks for the tips guys.

Tell me...

Is my inventory in a workbench shared across the map with all other workbenches?

And if so... if I store my Power Armour in the Power Armour Station... can I access it from any other Power Armour Station I come across in the Wasteland?

I believe for settlement resources to be shared you have to have trade routes set up between the settlements ... and a Perk.
