Edit: You don't see Somah again either, but you can always use Crazy Wolfgang, or just get 100 Repair yourself..

I can't answer your question about Paulson, but for 100% repair, you could just abuse the Haley's Hardware exploit, if you don't mind glitching.

Haley's Hardware can be found in Point Lookout.

Paulson and the Samuri should both give you their weapons as quest rewards at the end of MZ. It's a real immersion breaker when I have to keep blowing their heads off to get their gear.

Agreed. But I wouldn't have found other entertaining ways to kill them off though if they did that

You get their weapons? Paulson died, and I never found him back, but each time I talk to the Samurai he just keeps yelling at me in Japanese :ahhh:
