Where Did This Come From?

Post » Sun Nov 21, 2010 4:05 pm

So I did the quest to become the Duchess of Mania. So I do all that stuff and then watch as Thadon dies. I go over to get the lifeblood and then loot his corpse for his nice little helmet, key, or anything else he has. And when I open his inventory I find his robes. I take them because I didn't expect to find them there and putting them on to see if it's too good to be true and sure enough it works perfectly fine. Now I'm hoping when I kill Syl I'll find her dress with her. But the thing is I do not have a mod installed that adds them, as far as I know unless one secretly did it, and never did have one.

So I'm wondering what mod could have done this or which mods do this? The only mod that I think could have done this is Clothing and "Armor Replacer for Exnems Complete" mod. Even though I do not have an Exnem body replacer I wanted to get some kind of clothing replacer for my game since I did have HGEC body replacer. So is this the one that could have added the robes because this is the only mod that I have that does things to SI clothes as well as regular Oblivion clothes.

You can use http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21862 to check which mod the clothing comes from.

I doubt it's the "Clothing and Armor Replacer for Exnems Complete". I'm not familiar with that particular mod, but clothing/armor replacers for body mods usually just replace the meshes of existing items to change what they look like, rather than adding new items or altering the properties of existing ones.

Thanks. Well now I know where that came from. So hopefully I can get Syl's Dress.
