However, did you ask her to follow you in your house? Maybe shes waiting for you in her own house or some other house you own.

She ran off with your gold. After a week the lawyers of Whiterun will contact you telling she wants a divorce. And since you did not have an agreement, she will get half of the money and property. She will invest this money in mining companies. Becoming even more rich, she will eventually buy her way into the noble houses of Skyrim. She then marries the Jarl of Whiterun (since she already has gotten rid of any evidence of your marriage to her), she will poison the current Jarl. no one suspects her for doing it, and thus she becomes the new Jarl.

After some years, she claims she is the rightful heir to the throne of Skyrim. A civil war ensues, between her supporters and the ones against her. Her armies are victorious due to an extremely skilled alchemist. She becomes the High Queen of Skyrim, continuing to rule over Skyrim with an iron first.

I checked her house 3 times so far, and she's not in there either. I didn't ask her to follow me, because she left too quickly. I also only own 1 house.

She's probably still in Riften where you got married. When I married her she went invisible and I spent like 4 hours trying to figure out where she went, until I checked the church place again and she appeared out of no where and asked me some questions on where we were living.
