I hope dragons can shapeshift, like in wow you would talk to these npcs who give off a sense of power and later on you learn they were dragons in human form. It was pretty cool.

Just to get the sheer scale of Daggerfall, check out http://www.phoenixroleplay.org/index.php?topic=317.0. Sure puts things into perspective, how insanely huge Daggerfall really was. And this was in the 90s.
I wouldn't mind the sense of scale, even if it means less detailed (due to fractal landscape having to be used, together with some sort of auto placement) world than Oblivion. Oblivion is super beautiful, I don't think many will object to that. But it also feels artificially compressed or something. You'd need to be a mountain climber to get up some of the grades that in the game is paved
