So, as Fallout Shelter is released for Android tonight, I'm wondering where I need to go in order to download it? I'm a complete newbie. Thanks for any input.

Just the Google Play Store then? That's the first thing popping up when I googled "Android App Store". Sorry I'm totally new to Android apps. I've been there and I've only seen a ton of Fallout Apps from third party developers. I get that the app page may not be up yet, because it'll come up tonight. But I'm just wondering what to look for, that's all. I just wanna make sure that I'm not clicking on anything that isn't the official app from Bethesda.

Can't wait expected it to be there now but i can wait a few more hours i guess lol.

This was a Bethesda developed title for iOS so I would assume it is the same for Android. You should see Bethesda listed as the developer on the app page if it is the official app. Also, not sure how Google releases the programs to the store but there is no guarantee it would be on the store exactly at 12. It could appear on the stores at different times (depending on the country)

Ok thanks, I guess I'll just have to camp it out then haha. And I assume that Google Play Store is to Androids apps as what Steam is to PC games, then? Cheers.

Yup you should have a Play Store app in your apps list btw.

They just gave a date for release. No mention of time. You also have to consider they didn't even mention a timezone. Bethesda is headquartered in UMT - 5 timezone, so...

If their date of the 13th is based on local time, that would mean that the timeframe for release would be on the order of 13 Aug, 0500 UMT to 14 Aug 0500 UMT.

If their date of the 13th is based on UMT, that would be from about now to 24 hours from now.

I imagine the play store is going to crash when midnight hits
