Where do I find special dogmeat and Marcus armor?

Can't seem to find them for sale anywhere.

I personally wouldn't know, NPC's have never been my strong point :P They might be one-time items you can find? Quest related even? I really don't know.

What I do know though, is that Marcus has his own innate armour, and that seems to improve as he levels up, as for dogmeat, well I thought he was hard as nails, kindof had to be really, being an all melee type he was always going to take the most cuts and scraqes. I'd say as long as your NPCs aren't dieing on you all the time, you shouldn't worry about it so much :)

Though I'm sure Ausir will come by soon and clear it all up for you :P

Well I fight a lot of Death Claws, Enclave Patrollmen, and remnants of the Master's army, and Marcus is always getting to the near death point, Dogmeat too. But RP 2.0 came with Dogmeat and Marcus armor...just don't know where to get it.

I've heard something about the Abbey in relation to Marcus' armour. But that's about all I know, I don't know if it's a rumor or what, and I don't want to send you on a wild goose chase >_<

Ok, I've done some research and from what I gather there's a seperate NPC armour mod you need to install. Then you can find dogmeat and Marcus armour. With this mod installed you can find Marcus armour in The Abbey, so it's safe to assume this mod is built for Killaps's RP mod. May even be made by Killap himself, I honestly don't know. But take a look on NMA for it :)

You may have to link me. By the way- why would it say in the features of Restoration Project that dogmeat and Marcus armor was included, but then make it only available if you download another mod? Sounds strange to me.

And could I even continue with my current character after this mod anyway?

If it's in the features, then I don't see why you wouldn't be able to find them in the game. All I can suggest is keep looking?

do a ctrl+f search for "marcus" and "dogmeat" until you find the relevant info.

By the way, the NPCs have to be in your party in order to get the armour for them, but it's all there in that link.

Trader bill is out front IIRC. You dont "barter/Trade" for it, its a dialoge option,

OKAY, I played RP 2.0 a long time ago, and don't remember correctly, but this is how I think it goes:

Trader Bill is in the Abbey, you NEED to have Marcus with you for him to mention the special armour. I think there is a special line available when he is in your party, or Bill will have something extra to say, or something like that.

The armour for Dogmeat you find in Broken Hills in the shop with the 'short tempered' woman. Ask he if she has anything special, and you MUST have dogmeat in your party for her to talk about the canine armour.

If all else fails, ask at NMA in the relevant modding section.

Trader Bill is very close to where you arrive on the first map of the Abbey. South side of the screen.

Ok, here's an important something that just occured to me.

When you installed the RP mod, did you check the 'Extra Content' box in the installer? That includes a few more features (and probably were separate mods before RP was released) including the armours. If you didn't tick the extra content you wont get the armour in-game.

If that's the case you might have to uninstall the mod, then reinstall it with the appropriate content :)

I'm not sure if the inclusion of the extras will corrupt your saves, neither do I know if the same will happen if you uninstall and reinstall the RP, so you might have to start another playthrough if you want the armours. But at the same time there are other extras aswell so the new playthrough will still have a few more surprises for you :) But maybe your saves will be fine, I honestly don't know, so just prepare to restart if that turns out to be the case :)
